"No!" Harry shouted and lifted his wand, but Kylie was faster. "Expelliarmus." And soon, his wand was thrown to the floor. Harry was shocked. "Kylie?" Hermione muttered. Kylie stepped back and looked away. "You're with them!" He shouted and then turned towards Sirius. "You betrayed my parents! You sold them to Voldemort!" He exclaimed. "It's a lie! We never would've betrayed James and Lily!" He shouted. "Harry! You've got to listen --" Remus started. "Did he listen! When my mother was dying! Did he hear her screaming!" He yelled.
"No! He didn't! He wasn't there!" Kylie shouted. Everyone turned towards her. "I was there, Harry. I was there in the same room as you and your mother." She says. "Someone else betrayed your parents, Harry. Someone in this room right now. Someone who, until quite recently, I believed to be dead." Remus added. "He's as good as dead." Sirius says.
"What're you talking about? There's nobody here." Harry says. "Oh yes there is --" Sirius says and looked around, before looking at Ron. "Come out, come out, Peter. Come out, come out and play --" He says. Ron coward back. "You're mad --" He muttered. Harry furrowed his brows before looking down at Scabbers.
Kylie stepped forward and glanced at the two. Before they could do anything, Snape walked in disarming the two. "Ah, vengeance is sweet. How I hoped I'd be the one to catch you." He says. "Severus --" Remus started. "I told Dumbledore you and Ms. Black were helping your old friend into the castle. And here's the proof." He sneered.
Kylie glared at him, gripping her wand behind her back. "Ms. Black?" Hermione muttered. "Brilliant! And -- as usual -- dead wrong. Now give us our wands back. Remus and I have a bit of unfinished business to tend to." Sirius says as he approached him, but Snape put his wand to his neck. Kylie pointed hers at Snape.
Snape eyed her carefully. "You wouldn't really kill me." He sneered. Kylie glared at him. "That's my father you're threatening." She sneered. "Don't be a fool, Severus!" Remus shouted. "He can't help it. It's habit by now." Sirius says. "Quiet, Dad!" Kylie shouted. "Listen to you three. Quarreling like an old married couple and their daughter. The creatures and the criminal." Snape sneered. Kylie furrowed her brows. "What?" She muttered.
"Oh, they haven't told you yet? I would assume they would've by now." He says. "What is it?" She asks. "Piss off." Sirius shouted. "Witty as ever I see. Tell me, will you be so irreverent when I turn you to the Dementors?" He asks. Kylie held her breath and gripped her wand tightly. "Do I detect a flicker of fear? One can only imagine what it must be like to endure the Dementor's Kiss. It's said to be unbearable to witness. But I'll do my best." He adds.
Kylie froze. "After you." He sneered. "Expelliarmus!" Kylie shouted and watched as Snape flew into the wall. Kylie lowered her wand and took a deep breath. "You attacked a teacher, Kylie!" Hermione shouted. "You said Peter before. Peter who?" Harry suddenly asks. "Pettigrew. He was at school with us. We thought he was a friend." Remus explained.
"No. Pettigrew's dead. He killed him." Harry says as he pointed towards Sirius, who laughed. "I thought so, too. Until you mentioned seeing Pettigrew on the Map." Remus says. "The Map was lying then --" Harry starts. "The Map never lies. Pettigrew's alive. And he's right there." Sirius says and points toward Ron. "M-me? It's lunatic --" Ron muttered. "Not you, you idiot. Your rat." He says.
"Scabbers? Scabbers has been in my family for --" Ron starts. "Twelve years. A curiously long life for a common garden rat. He's missing a toe, isn't he?" He asks bitterly and unfolds a paper with the Weasley's on it. "So what?" Ron asks. "All they could find of Pettigrew was his --" Harry starts. "Finger. Dirty coward cut it off so everyone would think he was dead. Then he transformed into a rat." Sirius explained. Harry looked between the three. "Show me." He says.
