"You're super annoying and I'd rather have you shut up and not interrupt the director. Thanks." The cast back stage was completely quiet except for Dan.
"Well maybe if someone didn't cast me in such a small roll, I wouldn't want to talk back here so much." He sassed her back.
"Listen, Howell, I don't know what your deal is but today is not the day to fuck with your stage manager." Tears threatened her eyes and before anyone could notice, she calmly walked to the bathroom to calm down for the rest of the take 5. Hell week for such a large production had completely thrown Celeste off her game.

There was a small knock at the door, followed by a soft voice "Celeste, we're going into places to run act 2 scene 3."

"Alright, thank you." She sniffed once she was sure her assistant was gone.

Celeste say Dan sitting in the back corner playing with his phone in a large group of people. She walked passed hoping he wouldn't say anything and to her delight, he didn't.

"Don't miss your que, Chandler. You have to be up front for your death scene." He nodded. "Alright, guards be ready to enter from stage left." She whispered into her headset to her assistant. Everyone was on stage except a few people, one of them being Dan. Celeste didn't move from her podium in fear of running into Dan.

"You're doing wonderful, by the way."

"What?" Celeste turned and met the eyes of Daniel.

"I just came to sat you're doing wonderful." Celeste looked to the stage then back to Dan. The lights hit him just right and there was a small hint of red on his cheeks. Dan gave a small smile and left to reside in his corner.

What was that all about?

Another day, another rehearsal. Today Celeste's game face was on. She was determined to get through this one without a tear.

"Celeste, we need you on stage." My ASM told me over the headset. I sighted and went into the lights. The house lights were off and everyone was onstage.

"What is going on? You should be getting into costume." No one said anything, they all just smiled at me.

Dan emerged from the crowd with a dozen flowers on hand. I immediately began to blush.

"I was a dick but only because I have a hard time telling my feelings. I'm sorry, could you ever forgive me?" Dan handed her the flowers. She sniffed them and looked around.

"Alright, alright. Get into costume, we've got a show to put on."
