INSPIRATIONNNNN! And also I apologize for this story being more of a Elmcena book. I have a spechul place in my heart for Elmcena.
Mr. Clean called Elmo about five times and sent about twenty million texts. He got no reply each time. Mr. Clean tried everything he could and was starting to feel hopeless. He'd went and visited John everyday since he had tried to kill himself. He was slowly recovering but he still was determined to either find Elmo or die. Mr. Clean had almost lost all hope of finding Elmo before something hit him. Like he was literally hit by a flying rock in the head. It was a big rocky rock. Very rock like. He was knocked out.
He woke up a bit later and in front of him was a giant floating dolphin. Mr. Clean thought he was going insane. "Hello, I am Clementine." Said the dolphin. "Mr. Clean..." he answered uncertainly. "I know how to get to your friend. Follow meeeeeeee!" Said Clementine before he flew off on a rainbow. Mr. Clean stood up and slowly walked onto the rainbow and once he realized that it was fine to walk on, he picked up his pace. He eventually caught up to Clementine who was stopped on top of a cloud at the end of the rainbow. There was a building on top of the cloud and another rainbow bridge on the other side. "Go into the building" Clementine said and Mr. Clean walked into the building.
Once he was inside, Mr. Clean looked behind him to see if Clementine was following. The cloud was gone and outside was a land made of candy. The weirdo mutant floating dolphin was nowhere to be seen. "I'm confuzzled" he said to himself. He shrugged and continued to walk farther into the building. He saw a donkey with glasses sitting at the front desk typing something on the computer except it was staring straight at Mr. Clean. "I was told to come in here by Clementine" he said to the donkey. He looked at the name tag that he had on and his name was Gerald. "Ugh, Clementine keeps sending random people to me. What's your problem?" Gerald said.
"Ummm, what do you mean by problem?" Mr. Clean asked. "When Clementine sends people, they have a problem that they need to fix." Gerald explained. "Oh, I believe the problem was that I kind of ruined my best friend's relationship and long story short, he tried to commit suicide and I need to find his ex so I can deliver a note he wrote to show that he still cares." He explained. "I see, you need to find someone. What's your name?" Gerald the Berald asked. "Mr. Clean" "Okay Mr. Clean, I'm going to give you this card. I need you to follow the candy path outside and when you see the gumdrop guard, give this to him. He will lead you to the person who can help you find your friend's ex." Mr. Clean nodded and took the card from Gerald.
He began to walk away but turned around and smiled at Gerald. "Thank you" he said and walked out the door. As he did, many delicious fragrances welcomed him. He smiled and sniffed the air and so began his journey to find Elmo. He walked down the candy path for what felt like hours before he ran into a dead end. There was no gumdrop guard though. He started to look around but heard a rustling sound coming from the licorice bush behind him.
Mr. Clean spun his head around and saw a terrified mint child. "Please don't hurt me!" she cried out. "I'm not going to. What's your name?" He asked. "Lucy" she said, starting to ease up with the newcomer. "Nice to meet you, Lucy. Where's your family?" "I don't know, they've been gone since the chocolate soldiers attacked our town." Lucy explained. Mr. Clean started feeling bad for Lucy. She couldn't be older than ten. "I'm so sorry. How old are you?" He asked. "I turned nine on the day of the attack"
"You're staying with me and we're finding your family" Mr. Clean told Lucy. She nodded and slowly walked towards Mr. Clean. "You don't need to be afraid of me, I'm going to help you" he reassured her. The duo began walking again, trying to find the gumdrop guard. After a long day of walking, the sun began to set. They found shelter under a tree and laid down their coats as a kind of bedding type of thing. Mr. Clean and Lucy laid down and stared up at the sky. "What if I never find my family?" Lucy asked. "You will, I will make sure of it." Mr. Clean closed his eyes and quickly fell asleep, tired from a day of walking.
Mr. Clean opened his eyes to see Lucy sitting on top of him. He jumped up, knocking her to the ground. Luckily no real damage was done. Mr. Clean looked down at Lucy. "Are you okay?" he asked. "I'm fine" she answered. "We should get going." Mr. Clean said while picking his jacket up from the ground and getting all the dirt off of it. He waited for Lucy to get her coat before walking back onto the candy path. They kept walking until they reached some sort of candy mountain (we found a map to candy mountain, Charlie. CANDY MOUNTAIN!). "I guess we're going to have to climb over this" Mr. Clean said completely ignoring the fact that they could easily walk around it.
The duo began to climb up the small mountain before realizing the farther up they got, the hotter it became. Once at the top, Mr. Clean figured out why. It was a volcano with hot sauce lava (Tank you to ANephalemnamedNyx for the idea of hot sauce lava). "We're going to have to walk across the edge, stay close to me and be careful of where you step" he said before beginning to walk around the edge of the volcano, Lucy close behind. They had almost made it before Lucy slipped over a rock. At last minute she grabbed onto the edge of the volcano. "Help!" she yelled.
Mr. Clean tried to get her but couldn't quite reach her. Lucy's arms were getting tired and it became harder and harder for her to hang on to the edge. She knew she couldn't hold on much longer and she could fall to her firey death at any moment now.
I literally ended on a cliffhanger. I was gonna keep writing but then I saw the chance and I took it. Also I swear I'm not on drugs.
