LAYLA'S POV

After a very long train ride I finally arrived at my destination. Magnolia. My home.

I picked up my bags and clambered off of the train, glad to be off that death trap.

After I got off the train I looked at my surroundings. Everything looked the same, despite how long I had been gone. The same shops and houses were there, and the roads were that same layout that I remember.

The only thing that was different were the people. Some people I recognized, but they looked older. As to be expected.

My first job was to find an appartment, preferrably my old one. I quickly made my way over to the building where I used to live. Hopefully my landlady would still be there.

I found the building and went inside. Everything looked the same, showing that it had been well taken care of. I made my way over to the landladys room and knocked.

I heard scuffling inside then someone opened the door. Yup. It was definitaly her, she may have looked older, but it was definitaly her.

"Yes?" she asked impatiently. "I was wondering if I could rent an appartment." i replied hesitantly. "Do you have any appartments avaliable?" "well, lets go up and take a look shall we?" she said, then walked passed me and climbed the stairs.

She walked passed all these other appartments and, conveniently enough, stopped in front of my appartment door.

"This one is avaliable. Do you want to take a look inside?" she asked. "Yes, I would like that very much." I replied.

I opened the door and peered inside, just like everything else, it looked just like I remembered it. All my furniture was still there even.

"I love it! How much will be be to stay here?" "Well, it will cost a bit more than the other appartments because it is already furnished." "Ill take it, just give me the price and I can pay you the ammount due this month right now." I said excitedly.

"If you are sure, the rent for this appartment is 85,000 jewel a month." she eyed me suspiciously as though she did not believe I had enough to pay her.

I smirked and rummaged though my bag. I pulled out a smaller bag full of Jewels and handed it to the landlady. "Keep the extra Jewel. You can put it on my next rent bill."

With those words, I left the land lady staring wide eyed at the bag, and brought all my things into my appartment.

After I unpacked everything and put them in their rightful places, I looked in the cubord to see if anybody had kindly left food in there. Sadly there was nothing. "Lookes like I will have to go grocery shopping," i mumbled to myself. But first I have business to attend to.

I walked out of my appartment, making sure to lock it, and walked out onto the streets.

As I started making my way towards the guild hall I noticed that people were staring at me. I suppose the fact that I have a mask and a cloak on would make alot of people suspicious of me.

As I neared the guild hall my heart started racing. I was finally going to see everyone! Levy, Erza, Grey, Wendy, Gajeel, Happy, Carla, Lilly.... And Natsu. I can't believe how long it has been.

I stopped right in front of the guild and looked up at it.

I smiled and whispered "I am Finally home."

Gaining enough courage to go inside, I walked over to the guild doors and pushed them open.

What greeted me inside was not what I was expecting.
