NATSU'S POV

I did not get it! I could not get Layla off my mind. ButI suppose that was to be expected, especially when you find a lady who is just like the one you loved, in everything but looks.

Layla had it all. She was smart, beautiful, had her voice, she even liked strawberry milkshakes! I Could not tear my eyes away from her until she walked out of the guild.

The only things different about her were her looks and her scent. So it was about 50-50 here. She could be her, but then she might not be her.

I sat at that bar three hours after she left, thinking all this out. And I am sure people were starting to get worried. They kept shooting worried glances my way and kept debating on if it was a good idea to approach me in the state that I was in.

I sat there with my head in my hands feeling close to tears.

Finally Mira slowly approached me. "Natsu? You need to go home and get some rest. Okay?" she told me softlty. But I showed no indication that I had heard her. Mira sighed.

"Natsu, Ill walk home with you okay?" once again I did not do so much as nod my head, but she made a move to put her arms under my arms and get me off the stool.

Once I was standing I was able to support my own weight, but Mira kep her hold on me.

As we exited the guild I heard some people whispering to eachother.
Is Natsu going to be okay?
I don't know, but he looks awful. Im just glad Mira is here. I wouldn't know what to do if she weren't.

That was all I hears as we got out of earshot. The rest of the trip was slow and silent.

When we finally got back to my house Mira led me to my room. She set me down on my bed where she made me lay down and pulled my covers up.

"Try to get some sleep Natsu." she whispered to me. "Ill be back in the morning." Mira left then, leaving the door only slightly open.

I did not realize how tired I was, beause within minutes I was asleep.

"Natsu, it's time to get up." I heard Miras' soft voice. "I made breakfast. Come down when you are ready."

When I was certain Mira was gone I got out of bed and changed my clothes.

When I had done everything I could do in my room, I headed to the kitchen. I could smell the delicious aroma of bacon and eggs.

As soon as I sat down Mira set a plate of what I smelled in front of me. Everything was cooked perfectly, just how I liked it, so i picked up the fork and started eating it.

"Good morning Natsu. I trust you slept well?" Mira questioned, sitting next to me. I nodded with the fork still in my mouth.

I noticed Mira quietly studying me. "Are you feeling alright Natsu?" i sent her a confused glance. "Well, it's just that you are eating willingly today." as soon as she pointed that out i noticed she was right. On most days she had to keep telling me to eat, or, on particularly bad days, had to feed me. But today I was actually eating willingly.

I could tell she was trying to figure out why, but she didn't say anything else.

When I was done she took my plate to wash it, then came back. "Are you ready to go to the guild, Natsu?" i nodded my head and she smiled. "Good. Lets go!" she was preparing to help me again but I got up and walked out of my house leaving an astonished Mira.

When we got to the guild I did not kick the door open, but I was still the one to open it, much to the suprise of everybody else in the guild.

I smiled softly to everyone then made my way over to my usual spot at the bar.

As soon as Mira walked through the doors she was surrounded with people, but I could not hear what they were talking about.

"Good Morning Natsu!" i heard a cheery voice right next to me. I snapped my head in the direction of the voice to see Layla sitting next to me. "I hope you slept well?" she asked. I nodded my head and she beamed again. "Good! Im glad."

I pointed to her and she instantly got what I was asking. "How did I sleep?" I nodded once again.

"Well, I slept as well as i could in a new apartment. Im still getting used to it."

I could not help the smile that streched across my face. I couldn't help it! She was just too likeable!

Layla stared at me before she giggled. "I like your smile! You should smile more often!"

I stared at this woman with wonder. Who was she? She just appeared out of nowhere and turned my whole life upside down!

"Hey Natsu!" i heard Layla call my name. "Lets go on a mission together!"
