Misunderstandings

Evangelin's POV:

Yesterday was a great day, I spent all day with Jay and his family, we had fun talking, Liv was ecstatic to see us. We helped her move her things to her sisters house (her husband is working over seas and is coming back in a week) and she didn't want to be alone. Also I told Jay a little about my past and I feel great, it's like a weight has been lifted off my shoulders. But I'm sad Jay and I won't hangout in the library after school.

Well all good things must come to an end.

Monday.

I was at my new locker getting my things, trying remember the assignments I got last week. Then a girl with pale skin, purple hair and a few piercing walked up to me. She glared at me growled which made me flinch and opened the locker to my left, she took out her back pack and walked away.

So she's my locker neighbour.......great......

Don't be negative, be positive maybe she's having a bad day.

I hope.

I turned back to my locker and pulled out my binder and calculator while sticking a pencil behind my ear. When I closed my locker I nearly had a heart attack, beside me stood a guy. A jaw dropping, heart stoping, swoon worthy, hormone activating guy, he had short brown hair, the bluest eyes I've ever seen, thin pink lips, bushy eyebrows, no indication of facial hair and flawless skin. I stood there staring at him mouth agape, he turned to look at me and flashed me a dazzling smile.

"Oh so you're my new locker neighbour, you're replacing Gwen? I'm gonna miss her but I'm not gonna miss her daily hook ups with random guys in front of my locker. Any way my names Hudson, Hudson Fry." he brought out his hand for a shake. I looked at his hand then at him and back at his hand. I shook it lightly and retrieved my hand.

"I'm... umm.... E-Evangelin Grey," I stuttered looking down at my feet.

"You don't talk much do you?"

I shook my head.

"Trust me, I don't bite," I don't know why but his words made me feel secure, Hudson seems like the kind of guy that couldn't hurt a fly and that made me feel relaxed around him. So I loosened up and talked to him, it was nice. We talked about our schedules and classes, turns out we have Home Ec. and Physics together.

"You know what Grey? You're alright".

"Thanks I guess I'll see you later," with a two finger salute he shut his locker and walked away.

"Yo Fry!" I yelled, he turned around walking with his back while facing me.

"You're alright too".

Lily POV:

"How's Eva? Is she alright?"

"Yah she's fine," Jay replied with a small smile.

"Sorry I couldn't come back to check on her, April and Blu had another flare and I had to take care of them," April and Blu are my twin younger siblings. Blu's older than April with seven seconds, he always uses that to tease her. When they were born they weighed one pound, the doctors thought they would die but miraculously they survived. As a result of that their immune systems are low and they fall sick easily. Jay nodded in understanding, he's knows about it so he doesn't get mad when I flake out on him.

I opened my locker again to pick up something I forgot when I heard someone talking to Jay. The voice sounded timid and feminine, I closed my locker revealing Jay and Eva. She smiled warmly her eyes twinkling and her face filled with so much interest while talking to him, her eyes shifted to me immediately her smile faltered and she looked at the floor.
