Evangelins POV:

"Haemolysis is the destruction of red blood cells, and subsequent release of haemoglobin, at the normal end of the cell's life. If you turn to page......," if you should ask me how my day was going I'd say pretty bad. I'm used to having bad days, but today was ten times worse. It all started this morning when I woke up thirty minutes to the beginning of first period, I raced to the bathroom like a psychopath tripping on my sheets and falling face flat. Then in the bathroom there was no hot water so I had to use ice cold water, during break fast I decided to eat something light and fast, toast and grape juice harmless and easy to prepare right?

Wrong.

I ended up setting the toaster or fire and when I tried to get the fire extinguishers I tripped on my feet and spilled the grape juice all over me, then at school I had to crawl through the back door to escape my daily dose of stares from everyone and ended up getting chased by a dog. So right now I'm tired, hungry, dirty and developing a new hatred for the canine species. I can't wait for drama class last period so I can go to the library in peace, hopefully I'll leave it in one piece.

The library is like my safe haven like I'm invincible. I imagine my life as a story and everything I do brings me closer to the next chapter, there all the characters are my friends- besides who needs friends when you've got books.

I hurriedly walked down the hallway pulling down the hood of my grape stained hoodie, dodging students and trying not to touch anyone. Once I tapped a girl on her shoulder and asked for the time, she started crying uncontrollably. I was eventually taken to the principals office, when I explained what happened he was as confused as I was, he looked like he was having trouble trying to punish me so he gave me the usual 'don't do it again' and I was on my way.

I made my way to the back of the class at the corner putting my head down so nobody would see me, the bell rang and the students started filing in. When I heard Mr Leonard talk I assumed the lesson had begun, I looked up and surveyed the class finding a familiar looking boy smiling at me giving me a little wave.

Jay.

I waved back with my own smile and turned to the lesson still smiling, the class was actually very fun and interesting.

"Okay class quiet down," Mr Leonard said "before the class ends I want to announce the project for this year, this is going to be half your grade so you have to take it seriously. So this year your project is going to be oooonnnn, drum roll please" he gestured a at a boy who started drumming on his table with pencils "Sleeping Beauty!" he exclaimed dramatically making all the girls squeal in excitement.

"This is going to be a group project, so I'll assign your groups according to your characters," he pulled a clip board from his cupboard and glanced through the list.

"Okay, Kylie Burns, Jennifer Cole and Emily Phil you're going to be the three fairies," the three girls squealed in excitement hugging each other.
The casting went on for a while and the number of people who needed to be casted were few, I was so suprised when Becky Harrison got the role of maleficent. I thought I'd get that part seeing that every one thinks I'm evil, she's the drama freak and she's awesome at improv which I suck at. "And finally Jay Collins and Evangelin Grey, you're going to be Prince Philip and Aurora."

Wait. ........What!!

At the sound of my name I tensed, I stared blankly at the man in front of the class as people high fived me and gave me pats on the back- wait are people actually touching me?- so this is how it feels to be appreciated. My body turned numb and I  couldn't feel anything, the bell rang dismissing everyone for the day, Jay was the first one to leave the room.
