"Niall." Someone whispered.

"Niall." It came again, causing me to groan and roll over, trying to ignore it.

"Ni." It came again.

"Za—" I stopped myself, remembering that I had come home finally after spending my whole weekend with Zayn. I sat up coming face to face with another pair of brown eyes, similar to honey I'd grown so fondly of but slightly darker. "Liam?"

"Hi." He smiled briefly.

"What are you doing in here?"

"I don't know— I haven't really seen you, and I know haven't been very talkative as of late. But I thought maybe I'd stop by and see how you're doing."

I lifted the blanket up next to me, and Liam flashed me a little smile, as he accepted my offer and slid in next to me. I had a brief moment of Déjà Vú back to the last time we'd been in this position and I couldn't help but be happy that the circumstances were different this time. I wasn't torn like I'd been before, I honestly felt like the person I was before. Maybe even better. I snuggled impossibly deeper into Liam's side, as his eyes flickered about the to screen that'd he'd turned on not to long ago.

"So—" he began, glancing at me briefly, "how's Zayn?" He asked coyly.

So he did know?

"So you did know?"

"I didn't at first, but Louis and Harry aren't the quietest of gossipers when they think they're alone."

"Look, I know that I'm not supposed to be seeing him or talking to him at the moment, but—"

"Ni." Liam said, trying to stop me.

"—it's Zayn we're talking about here. Not some random person or a pap. Our Bestfriend. I couldn't—"

"Ni."

"—I couldn't just not talk to him, I couldn't just ignore him. I mean I wasn't the biggest supporter of his whole solo thing but—"

"Niall James!" Liam shouted, causing my words to stop abruptly.

"No need to shout, Liam James."

"Well you wouldn't stop. But anyways, I understand Niall. Honestly I miss Zee too, I know it probably didn't seem as so, the last time I saw him." He said, stirring up the memory of when Zayn had snuck in the house and Liam had caught him. "I was only so abrasive because— well I missed him too and I still do." He finished, turning on side, looking at me, with his head propped up on his hand.

"Well he's doing alright, you should see him, he's so— so, happy. I can't even begin to explain how happy it makes me, just to see him happy. You should see him when you ask him about his music, he lights up and gets so excited and it's just a great sight." I hadn't even realised I'd been gushing until I stopped, and saw the little smirk on Liam's face.

"What?" I asked, wanting to know the reason behind it.

"You really like him, don't you?"

I could feel blood rushing to my face, "Yeah, I do." I admit sheepishly.

"Well, I'm happy you do. Watching him pine over you for five years was almost saddening. It was almost puppy-like, even more so than my pout. Not as cute as mine of course—" he winked, "but close."

I furrowed my eyebrows, "So— you're telling me, you knew too?"

"Of course I did, he told me. He was my Bestfriend too, y'know?"

"Did all of you know?"

I can visibly see that he thinks about momentarily. Then nods.

"Pretty much. I thought about telling you on more than occasion, but Harry would constantly remind me that it wasn't my place to tell and some shit about time and the stars."

"Sounds like Harry."

He nodded.

"Have you two been on a date yet?"

"Actually, we're going out first date when he gets back. His debut song is coming out on Sunday. So he's gonna be busy for a while and out of town for a while. But he told me, that I was gonna love it."

Liam turned over onto his stomach, sliding his arms under the pillow that his head lay on. So that his arms were cradling the pillow and his head.

"I'm sure—" he starts, but is interrupted by a yawn, "— that whatever he has planned will be amazing, cause I don't think you can begin to even realise how much that boy likes you."

"Honestly he could take me to an old run down diner and I'd probably still be happy." I said, chucking lightly. This in turn earned a laugh from Liam.

"It's good to know, I think you guys are great together and deserve each other." The smile on his face lessened, and his eyebrows raised in concern, "Because I never want to see you down the way you were. Never again."

I gulped, "Thank You."

"No need to thank me, you're my brother, for life. It's my job to be concerned about your well being."

I go to latch back onto him and he shift his position to allow for me to hug him. I held onto him for a good minute before letting go.

"So Louis was saying something earlier about doing something together, the four us. I'm not really sure what he had planned. But I agreed, it's been a bit since the lot of us have done anything together. Whether it be watching a movie, playing games or something, I'd be cool with it and I presume you are too?"

I shrugged, I had no reason to object, "sure." I agreed.

AN: After this chapter, things are gonna be picking up quite a bit ;) The length of the up coming updates will be longer, and yeah that's about it.

But I hope you enjoyed the reuniting of Niam.
