Chapter 1 Attacked by a Ninja?

White clouds lazily made their way across the ever blue sky and glowed in the light of the afternoon sun. She gazed at them with somber dark brown, blue, and red eyes. Her gold and silver streaked dark cinnamon hair took flight in the gentle breeze.
She wears black boots, blue jeans, a white camasaul with a button-up white mid-sleeved sweater, and a Yin and Yang choker. She lies in a beautiful meadow that is littered with white flowers. Clusters of trees surrounded the meadow and mountains lined a distant horizon. With a sigh, she closed her eyes and dozed for a while.
Suddenly, the silence was disturbed by a snapping twig followed by an audible "Damn!"

The brunette smirked and rose to her feet. "Hello again." she greeted. Holding out her hand, she summoned a sword which appeared in her grasp. There was a certain gleam in her eyes as she held its tip toward her opponent. "Ready for another beat-down?"

"Really guys," Yoko said passively as she held together her torn shirt. She has dark brown eyes and dark cinnamon hair. She is a hybrid neko who wears dark aqua marine pants, and a silver necklace. Her long sleeved forest green shirt was torn apart thanks to a bleeding gash extending from her upper left thigh to her right shoulder. The brunette was having a hard time keeping it together, but she still managed to cover herself.

"I appreciate your concern," she continued, "But..." she searched for the right words.

"But what?" Ushiko retorted. She is blonde with chocolate brown eyes and wears black heeled boots, a black skirt, a pink shirt, a black leather jacket, and an intricate spider silk choker with green and black designs.

"Well, I..."

"What?!" she glared impatiently.

"I..."

"WHAT?!"

"SHUT UP SO I CAN TELL-" Yoko choked and went into a fit of coughing, trying unsuccessfully to stifle it with her hand.

"Hey, Yoko." Nariko said, receiving a muffled 'what?' from the brunette. "Can't you just use alchemy to fix your shirt?" She laughed at the look on the brunette' s face. Nariko is a leopard neko with dark eyes and long, curly blonde hair. She wears a white jacket with black stripes and black jeans and wields a lightning blade.

"If that's the case," Ushiko continued, "Then why don't you just heal yourself?"

"She can't." Nateo retorted. He is Yoko's brother who is a hybrid neko with black hair and eyes, an emerald-green button-up flannel with rolled up sleeves, red pants, and a nen gun. "It doesn't work like that." Certain energy types can heal others, but not themselves.

"Then... Oh! Yeah." Ushiko chuckled uncomfortably. "I knew that." She face palmed and Nariko pat her sister's back sympathetically.

"So, anyway." the leopard said, moving the conversation along. "What exactly attacked you, again?"

"Uh..." she had to think for a moment. "It wasn't exactly a 'what' but more so a 'who'..." She then grinned. "Heh-heh. 'Hoo'."

"Yoko, this is no time for bad owl puns!" Ushiko scolded, disregarding the negative response.

"Okay, okay. Patience."

"Maybe I will have patience if you tell us who the hell attacked you!" She scoffed. "Nevermind. That probably won't happen."

"Now, now, little sis." Nateo said, patting his sister's shoulder lovingly. "Go on and tell Big Brother who the hell attacked you so he can rip their throat out."
