Chapter 6 Reunion!

"Here's some water." a kind Earthin woman offered.

"Thank you." Yukko said, taking the bottle and downing it in one gulp.

"So, your name is Yukko Kayne?"

"Yeah. You're... Tohru Hanashima, right?"

"Yeah."

"Well, it's nice to meet you, Miss Hanashima." They bowed.

"It's nice to meet you, too." Tohru is a single mother in her mid to late forties. She has shoulder length brown hair and dark brown eyes and wears glasses, jeans, and a white shirt.

"Hey, guys!" one of of Tohru's co-workers called, looking at the TV. "Come look at this!"

It was the news: "This is an amateur video of two Serenian juveniles arriving in Tokyo, Japan."
Faint screaming could be heard. "What the hell is that?" the camera man questioned. "The hell should- Woah! ****!" Whatever it was had caught a falling toy and separated into two. It was Yoko and Nateo!

Yoko happily played with her stuffed animal which, as her father, he had to admit was very adorable in spite of her age of sixteen. Then there was a loud crash and the camera turned very shakily over to Nateo who had just crashed into a car and was now lying on his back in shock. The camera man and his companion both cursed some more... which was very lovely. Then came rushing to his side.

"Hey, kid!" the guy exclaimed. "Are you alright?" Shigematsu muttered something. "I can't hear you!"

"I'M NEVER GONNA RIDE A ROLLERCOASTER AGAIN!!!" the video then ended there.

"That kid must have been through a lot." the news lady commented. "How old are they again?" She and the newsman leaned forward to someone off screen. "Sixteen? Really?"

The news man replied. "Well, just in case any of you were wondering, these two were brought to the... Marigold Orphanage..."

"Orphanage?" Yukko deadpanned. Feeling lightheaded, the father turned to search for his seat and sat down heavily, resting his head in his hands.

"Yukko?" Tohru rubbed his back soothingly. "Are you okay?"

"No. My children are in an orphanage and I don't even know the way there!"

"Can't you just look up the directions? Do Serenians even use cellphones?" He had the sudden urge to kick himself.

Back on Seren...

"What is it? What happened?" Clatina questioned. They were all laughing hysterically at a video on the news.

"Heh! H-here! I-I'll rewind it for you..." Miroku said between spurts of laughter. It was the video Yukko had just seen.

"His face!" Nariko exclaimed. "His pitiful face!" Umai looked at her daughter in concern, but looked and soon found herself laughing as well.

Another amateur video showed three Serenian juveniles being apprehended and lead inside the same orphanage. This time, it was Ushiko, Kai, and Hachi.

"Um... Yukko?" Tohru asked worriedly.

"...Yeah. Yeah, I'm okay. I-I just need a minute."

"Damn! I can't believe you're still shaken up about that." Yoko commented, comforting her brother. "I don't think I've ever seen you like this on roller coasters."

"DAMMIT! THAT'S BECAUSE MY LIFE ISN'T AT STAKE!" He continued rocking helplessly.

"Well, you did have it coming for attempting to use my Byakuya~chan against me, though going by what happened, I take it you didn't need to?"
