"Guys, Ruby is gone for the moment. She will do anything to get out of this, and our lives are irrelevant to her at this time. She has no idea what she is doing." I informed the boys. Ruby just laughed and threw another blue fire ball, directly at Storm. I couldn't let it touch him though, or it would drain his power, until there was nothing left. so I jumped in the way. I cried out in pain as the fire coursed through my veins, and slowly began sucking the life from me.

The twins ran to my side, but I shoved them off. As fast as I could, I got back on my feet, nodding at the twins to trap her again. Unfortunately they didn't understand, so I did the only thing I could. I sent my thoughts to Sampson through my water connection, so Ruby couldn't see. Then he sent them to the twins. They nodded and once again trapped Ruby, just as Storm froze her hands so she couldn't create fire. Ryder threw a magic blocker around Ruby, so she couldn't use her powers. Unfortunately, it cancelled out the boys' magics too.

She ran up to Ryder, and shoved him backwards into a book shelf, knocking away his concentration. Which allowed Ruby to break the barrier that surrounded her. Sampson started moving towards Ryder when I told him to stop. Ruby was doing something, but I couldn't tell what it was. Until I noticed her hand motions. A light bulb triggered in my brain and I knew we were in serious trouble. "Take cover!" I screamed as I used my telekinesis to throw the book self off of Ryder.

With all the boys hiding, I watched as Ruby produced fire seeking Arrows. There was one for each of them, and each one was colored for us specifically, with an addition of orange tipped fire. Known in this day and age, as poison fire. "Don't attack your element!" was the last thing I shouted to the boys before we were under attack.

Fire was my respective element, so it was easiest for me to defend against her attacks. But as I sliced to the hailstorm of arrows raining down, I watched the boys being backed into a corner. It was up to me, to pull Ruby together, before someone died. Unfortunately for that to happen I had to do an unthinkable thing. With a yellow fire, lightfire, I burned through the straps holding Rouge to the table. As soon as he was realeased he jumped off the table and headed for the stairs. I locked his arm to mine with a fire binding spell. Which fused our powers together, making us stronger. Yet also in more danger because if one of us died, we both would.

I whispered to Rouge the plan and he nodded. Then I filled image after image of the memories I had of the two of us to her thoughts. As I did that Rouge began a fire binding spell. it was going to take minutes, and I had to keep her distracted until then. Ruby fought with her instincts to kill more and more as the images flooded her mind. Rouge was almost done when I felt a dark energy come over me. I knew it was the evil version of myself, but it might actually be our only shot. So I let my dark energy consume me, and I broke the binding spell between Rouge and I.

My dark energy radiated off of me, as I trapped Ruby and I in a dark field. The two of us were now trapped. I knew that my energy could over power hers. But in order to do so, I had to make a choice. Yet the only way for it to work is to make sure the boys can't intervene. Which is why I made the force field. By the time the boys figure out what I'm doing, they will have run out of time. This was the only way to drain Ruby's power enough to stop her.

I waited before throwing a dark shot at her. Which is a very condenced amount of energy. She dodged it, which I expected. Then she shot a dark arrow straight into my heart. I expected it to hurt, but not this badly. my whole body radiated with dark energy as I fell to my knees. I could hear the boys trying to break my force field. The energy got stronger, as I wathed Ruby's expression change drastically. She finally figured out what I was doing.

a small smile crept onto my lips, as I felt blood leaking into my lungs. I watched Ruby try breaking the barrier, but she was no match for me right now. the energy got stronger and stronger with every breath I took. As I took my final breath and finally collapsed, The rest of my energy radiated out of me, knocking Ruby out cold, and also breaking the barrier.
