The Scroll

I woke up later that afternoon, still in Aiden's bed. I was still in a lot of pain from just a few hour earlier. My whole body aching. Slowly I rolled off the bed and onto the floor with a thud. As i was picking myself off the ground, Aiden charged in with only a towel wrapped around his waist. I looked at him for a minute with a blank face before busting out laughing.

"Are you okay, i heard that from in the shower." he asked me. Although i was laughing so hard it hurt, and i could not reply. He had no idea what was so funny.

"Why are you laughing?" he said in a frustrated tone. Through my taerful eyes I sat up slowly trying to catch my breath. It was no use though i was laughing too hard, so instead i just pointed at my hair. His eyes went wide, and his cheeks turned pink as he stomped back into the bathroom. I stayed laughing on the ground thinking about Aiden's hair. He had shampoo in it, and he had it all pointing upwards like a mohawk. It was one of the cutest and funniest sights i had ever seen.

Once i had finally caught my breath, i laid back on the bed, and stared at the ceiling. Lost in thought. 'Who is Storm? Is he really my uncle? What about the dark mage? What's his play in all this? What about my brother? What about the guys?' I groaned covering my face with my hands. I got up from the bed and knocked on the bathroom door.

"Yes?" i heard Aiden ask me from inside the bathroom.

"Hey i have to get back to my friends, so i'll see you around. Okay?"

"Okay. See you later cutie!" I heard him shout right before i closed the door to his room. I walked down the stairs instead of taking the elevator, because i needed to clear my mind. I kept thinking back to Aiden, and then my thoughts wandered towards Sampson. I remember him cuddling with me, and how i felt. It was the greatest feeling of security i have ever felt. He made my heart jump without even trying. I mean Aiden was hot as hell, but he wasn't Sampson.

I finally made my way back to the room, and the moment i opened the door, i was attacked into a big hug by Ruby. I confusingly hugged her back, and she pulled away, examining my body.

"Thank god you're alright!" she exclaimed, "are you okay? Did they get you too?" I looked at her confused.

"The dark mages... they... they jumped Storm." Ruby said quietly. I knew I was supposed to care, but now that i know the truth, I could care less about him. Besides he was only beat up for show. But i had to act natural, get in close, and learn about the scroll. So i gasped, covering my mouth.

"Omg! Is he okay?! Where is he?" I demanded. She took me to his room, and i slowly stepped inside. Truth be told, he looked like hell. He was bruised up and bloody. I held a trembling lip, and walked to him. Grasping my hand in his. His eyes opened and he smiled slowly, gripping my hand.

"Hey.." He whispered weakly.

"Hey. How you feeling?"

"Okay, under the circumstances."

"Is there anything I can do to help?" I asked the traitor laying before me. He shook his head and went back to sleep. I watched for a minute, thinking about killing him. It would be easy, but I knew I wouldn't have the heart. I could never kill someone. Not ever.

Instead I walked into my room, only to find Sampson sitting on my bed. When I closed the door, his head shot up, and he jumped away from my bed at lighting speed. I just giggled, and gestured for him to sit down. Yet he didn't sit, he slowly walked to me, and wrapped me in his arms. My mouth went dry, and my heart was pounding in my chest. Finally he pulled away form me, and stay down on my bed. With my mouth still unable to respond, I just sat down with him in silence. It felt like forever before the silence was broken, and luckily by then my throat had opened back up.
