*Lexi's POV*

I looked up to Harry in absolute puzzlement. "Harry, this is the exact same message Kelsey got, but from you. Just your names are switched around." Harry walked over to me in confusion, taking a hold of his phone and scanning the contact name.

I had finally noticed now, Harry's voice had been sounding weird for the past few minutes we had been talking and I had figured out why. Harry's cheeks were puffy and red and his eyes stained with red from tears, he had been crying.

"Are you okay?" I asked him, resting a hand on his shoulder awaiting his reply.

"Umm, yeah. I just have something in my eye." He replied, trying to cover up the original story.

"Harry?" I watched as he brought a hand to his face wiping away a tear that had been formed.

"Does she hate me?" He asked letting out a deep sigh trying to contain himself. "NO! Of course not, Harry she is the opposite of that. I've been with Kelsey for most of the afternoon since that text message was sent to her, she has been crying her eyes out thinking that you really didn't want to see her or have anything to do with her."

"Is she here?" Harry's voice trailed off.

"I know Harry, but just wait a minute." I watched as he looked to be with worried eyes, raising an arm to scratch his other before placing it down to his side once again.

"We need to figure out who sent those messages."

"But it's an unknown number. It's not in my contact lists."

"Doesn't mean it isn't in mine." I replied smiling gesturing to Harry to give the phone once again back to me, he did as such. I typed in the digits of the phone number into my contacts list and there stood his contact name. Jake.

"He has two numbers, he used to text other girls off the second number while dating Kelsey so he could cheat on her, I know, what an ass."

"That little fucking bastard."

Harry stood with his head crooked to the side before he leant over scanning the contact name present on my phone screen.

"First the threatening, now he is trying to separate us! I'm going to give that fuck head more than just a piece of my mind."

A look of discomfort crosses my face as I analysed Harry's words. 'Threatening' what was he on about.

"What do you mean by threatening?" I asked, raising an eyebrow in confusion.

"Jake's been threatening Kelsey."

"Wait, what?" My voice raising at the thought of my best friend being threatened by that fucking dick head. I had always hated him, there wasn't one thing at all that I had liked about Jake. He was an absolute arrogant asshole, who had never deserved to have my best friend. I was so glad they broke up, I was never really told the reason but I was glad that it happened.

"The other night, when I was at Kelsey's he texted her saying some crap about that Kelsey was his and that she shouldn't hang out with me or something like that." I watched as Harry's voice went from anger to sadness, I could see how much he cared for her.

"You really care for her, don't you?" Harry's eyes widened at my words, I knew his answer even before he got the chance to say it.

"Yeah." And there was the final thing I needed, he really did care about her. but the thing now was trying to get Kelsey to believe that Harry didn't send her that message.

"Kelsey fully believes you sent her that message."

Harry looked down at the ground fiddling with his fingers as he stared around aimlessly.

*Harry's POV*

"Wait outside." Lexi ushered me as she walked into her house to meet Kelsey, the door was shut behind her as I stood there as Lexi tried to explain to Kelsey the real story. But from what I was hearing outside of the bed room door, Kelsey wasn't going to believe Lexi.

"How do you know he isn't just lying to you!" I heard Kelsey yell from inside the house.

"Because I know him Kelsey, and you do too. You know him a lot better then I do. He wouldn't do anything to hurt you, nothing at all."

"I don't care anymore, I don't want to have anything to do with him. I don't to be hurt anymore."

Her words pinched at me.

"Harry's fucking here Kelsey! Okay! He came to fix this stupid fuck up excuse, and make things right. He isn't like the other dudes at our school that just screw you over, Harry is more than that and I know that deep down inside you know that too!"

Tears pricked my eyes at their conversation, I didn't want to listen anymore. I really didn't I couldn't stand being in the same house hold. I stood from the floor wiping away some of the tears from my cheeks, then I turned to walk down the stairs. I got to the top of them as I heard a sobbed voice call from behind me. I turned to find Kelsey stood in the hallway her eyes full of tears as she trailed my body up and down. My eyes were filled with the same tears as her, I looked to Kelsey feeling her eyes look to mine too. I ran quickly to her, scooping her up in my arms and hugging her tightly.

"Is it true? It wasn't you?" She asked softly between small sobs.

"I swear on my life it wasn't me."

I held her so tightly to my body, I didn't want to let her go I really didn't. Kelsey was the only person actually keeping me sane, I felt her breathing rate secrete as she still held me tightly. Kelsey showed no signs what so ever of letting go of me anytime soon, I walked slowly back to Lexi's room still holding Kelsey in my arms.

"Youse can have my room for tonight." Lexi replied leaving the room and shutting the door, I thanked her just as she left.

"I told you I wouldn't let anything happen to you and I won't."

"Do you know who sent the messages?" She softly asked me.

"It was Jake. Lexi said he had a different number for.. He has two numbers and he just used the one you didn't have I'm guessing. I still don't know how he got my number though. but it doesn't matter." I gently sat on the bed grasping Kelsey close to me as I slowly laid back. I gently pried Kelsey's legs partly off from the back of me her legs now either side of my waist. I pulled the rustled covers over us shielding us in warmth.

"I can't believe I thought you did that, I'm so sorry." She mumbled between little sobs.

"It's alright." Kelsey lifted her head off my chest still leaving her grip on me quite tense.

Kelsey diverted her attention up to me. She straddled my lap as she sat up, caressing her hand on my cheek.

"You've been crying." She spoke softly, her face saddened with expression.

"Well, when you spend 3 days with a girl and then she tells you she never wants to see you again, you tend to get a little bit upset." I smiled sadly. Kelsey laid back down on my chest, cuddling into me.
