I wake up and I find myself laying on the couch next to a half empty pizza box. Well I need to do something better with my life... I check the time on my phone it was 10:22a.m. with 3 missed calls from Benny, ugh. What does he want? He said it loud and clear that he wanted me out of his life, I still texted him to make sure everything was ok.
Sierra: Hey, why did you call me?
Benny: The boys were wondering if you were coming to the sandlot, because you're an hour late.
Sierra: Yea, I'm coming. I just slept in.
Benny: Alright.
I then head upstairs and take a shower, once I was out of the shower I change into a white V-neck with some dark blue high waisted pants and some black Converse, I then get a text from Jack.
Jack: Dude, I finally got my girl.
Sierra: Who's the lucky girl?!
Jack: Madison, I have been talking to her for a couple of weeks and we are finally going on a date!
Sierra: Damn G getting it, where are you taking her?
Jack: I'm taking her to a movie at 8:00p.m. I really hope she's the one.
Sierra: Well, congrats G. Anyways wanna hang out today at the sandlot before your date?
Jack: Hell yea, what time?
Sierra: Right now, come pick me up.
Jack: Alright on my way Cc! See you soon.
Sierra: Okay, bye.
Jack: Bye. (:

I knew Jack would be here any minute, so I do my hair into a high ponytail and then brush my teeth. I skip breakfast because I was still full from last night. Time passes by and I hear a knock on the door, I run downstairs and open the door to see Jack. "Hey!" I say hugging him, "Hey Cc, how are you?" He says hugging me back. We then let go of eachother "I've been fine, could be better tbh." I say, "Ouch, if you want I can cancel my date and we can watch movies eating lots of junk food." He says, "No, no! You are going." I say, "Hm, ok. Let's head to the sandlot now." Jack says, He drives me to the sandlot. When we get out of of the car and go into the sandlot I see Benny with the boys talking to them, "Hey guys." I say. They all turn my way "Hey Sierra." They all say, then that's when Benny started walking towards me, fuck. "Hey Sierra, look I'm sorry. Can we talk privately?" Benny says, I ignore him and walk away, "Alright, boys get in your positions, we are playing now." I say. They all base up while Jack sits under a tree waiting until the game ends.

Once we are done playing Benny goes up to Jack "This is all your fucking fault, you like her and she likes you. You are ruining our friendship, fuck off. She doesn't want a pot head." Benny says yelling at Jack, "Look man, fuck off, I don't like her like that. Even if I did you better fuck off because you shouldn't worry about our relationship, and she wants nothing to do with you, all you have done is act like an asshole to her." Jack says yelling at Benny, "Stop fighting guys! I'm disappointed in you two." I say, I then turn to Benny. "Honestly, get out of my life all you do is hurt my feelings and then try to apologize, thinking it doesn't matter anymore. Just leave and get out of my life.." I tell Benny. He then throws the bat on the floor and walks home, "Hey, I'm sorry I caused all of this..." Jack says "Jack, just go home. Please." I say "Ok." Jack says with his head down, he then walks to his car and leaves.

"Come on boys, we are still going to play baseball. Since you all behaved while that fight was going on, I'm taking you all out to eat.." I say "YEAH!" They all cheer then go to there positions. After 4 hours of playing baseball I take them out to eat pizza, we were all sweat and smelling gross but none of us cared. When we were done eating I check the time 7:30p.m. "Alright guys, start heading home." I say "Ok, bye Sierra." They all say leaving, once they all leave I start to think Benny wasn't trying to hurt me, he was just jealous. He was jealous I was leaving him out, ugh I have to apologize I feel bad. I then head to the sandlot and text Benny.
Sierra: Hey, I'm sorry. Can we talk?
Benny: Where?
Sierra: At the sandlot come now.
Benny: I'll be there in 5mins.
I then just sit down waiting for Benny it was starting to get dark. That's when I hear a voice "Hey. You wanted to talk?" Benny says, "Yea, look I'm sorry. I was being a bad friend, I'm sorry I left you out this whole time. But you have to understand you hurt my feelings too, and to be honest. I'm very stubborn, so please forgive me. I say. "I forgive you." Benny says, "Just like that?" I say "Yea, I mean I tried apologizing many times but you just walked away, I'm glad you are finally coming through." Benny says "Thank god, I missed having a fuckboy friend." I say punching his arm playfully "Haha, very funny." He says rolling his eyes, "Anyways, it's getting dark outside, I think I should head home." I say, "No, stay. Watch the stars with me." He says "But the dirt?" I say "Just lay down and enjoy the moment." Benny says.

The whole time while we were laying down looking at the stars we started to talk and get to know eachother more and more, he talks about reading, how he loved poems, and how he never shows his soft side. I liked this Benny better. We both post on snapchat about eachother, that's when I go to Jack's story and see he's home by himself, didn't he have a date? I then text him.
Sierra: Why are you home alone? I thought you were on a date.
Jack: I cancelled, because I realized I like another girl, and she wasn't for me. She's really nice. But she's not what I want.
Sierra: Well, what do you really want?
Jack: You.
My heart stops I feel sick. "Hey I don't feel good, I think I'm going to head home." I say to Benny. "Oh ok, I hope you feel better." Benny says, "Aren't you going home too?" I say standing up, "Nah, I'm going to lay her for a little more." Benny says. "Okay, take care bye." I say walking out of the sandlot.

When I get home I don't believe a word that Jack said, it's just so weird. I thought of him as a bestfriend, what would Benny think? What the hell, why is Benny even in this, ugh. I need to sleep this off, I head upstairs to the bathroom. I take a shower and then change into a PINK shirt and some shorts I then head to bed, all I could think about it Benny and our conversation when we were watching the stars. I then fall deep asleep.
