When we got to our neighborhood Benny and I went home. "You better text me Flores!" Benny said yelling, "I will Rodriguez!" I said yelling back while walking into my house. I walked into the kitchen and sat at the dinning table, I decided to do my homework so I don't have to worry about it later.
When I finally finished my homework I check the time 4:30p.m. I decided to take a nap, until I see I got a text message from Jack.
Jack: Hey, sorry I came off quickly last night. I just really like you.
Sierra: Don't worry about it, and I mean you barely know me. So how could you like me?
Jack: I know enough, and look what if I take you out on a date tonight?
Sierra: Only if you let me invite my friends so it could be a double date.
Jack: Deal. I'll pick you guys up at 7:30p.m.
Sierra: Its a date then, Gilinsky.
Right when I was about to hop in the shower I text Benny.
Sierra: Remember you still owe me that favor?
Benny: Hey to you too. And yeah what about it?
Sierra: I need you to go on a date with me.
Benny: Woah, I didn't know you liked me like that. (;
Sierra: Chill dumbass, Jack is my date. This is going to be a double date, so bring someone.
Benny: Why don't you go alone?
Sierra: Because! Just be ready by 7:30.
Benny: Alright.
I then get in the shower, I started to think. Benny agreed so quickly, I honestly thought he was going to say no... Then again he did owe me.
Once I got out I picked out my outfit, I didn't know where we're going so I just threw on a gray crop top with some light washed high waisted shorts and some white converse. I blow-dried my hair, and curled it. After I was done I started doing my makeup, which I rarely do, I check the time 6:55pm. Wow, time does fly when you're jamming out to Drake.
I hear a knock on the door, I hurry downstairs to the door. "Hey, I brought my date." Benny says, I look over his shoulder and I see Cameron. "Cameron?" I say in confusion, "Hey, Sierra!" She says smiling. I then walk outside and close the door behind me. "Well, Jack will be here any minute now so we can just wait." I say, "Cool, so where are we going?" Benny says. "I have no idea.." I say I then see Jack pull up in his car. "Hey guys hop in." Jack says smiling, we all started walking towards the car and got in. "You look great Cc..." Jack says checking me out. "Thank you G, you look good too." I say giggling.
"Are we there yet?" Cameron says, "Yeah." Jack says. I mean Cameron was kind of getting annoying, and I wasn't the only one thinking it either. Whenever she said if we are there yet Jack and Benny just rolled their eyes and said no. But this time we are here. "Woah, why did you bring us here? It's beautiful..." Benny says, we got out of the car and started walking towards the baseball stadium. The stadium was all lit up, it was perfect. Jack then pulled out his speaker and started playing Drake's songs, we all talked for about an hour until Benny stated running around the stadium, "One day." He whispered. I just looked at him and admired him, I know this kid will go far in life...
It was all going perfect, I loved everything, the place, the conversations and the people I was with. I even learned that Jack can sing, he was just so... So dreamy- wait no I can't fall for him, I just shake my head and get back into the conversation. "You okay?" Jack says putting his hand on my shoulder. "Yeah, I'm just hungry..." I say, "We can go to in-n-out." Jack says. "Hell yeah!" Cameron says, we all just start laughing and start walking towards the car.
We arrive to in-n-out and it's about 9:35pm we enter the restaurant and order our food. We then sit down, the whole time Benny just looked zoned out... "What are you guys going to do after we graduate? I think I'm going to get into acting or something..." Cameron says breaking the silence, "I actually wanted to get into modeling, but I don't really know..." I say shrugging, "I'm actually going on tour with my bestfriend Jack Johnson from Omaha." Jack says smiling. Benny the whole time was looking at the window, "What about you Benny?" I say looking at him. "Oh, I got a scholarship for baseball. So I guess I'm going to study more... And if I'm lucky enough I might go pro..." He says looking at me. "That's good, I played football in 7th grade, but I quitted. I wish I didn't, I think I could've got into pros." Jack says. "Yeah maybe." Cameron says, "I'll be right back, our order is ready." Jack says standing up and getting our order.
After we were done eating we headed home, once we dropped off Cameron it was in silence. "Did you guys have fun?" Jack says. "Yeah, I did. Thanks again." I say, "I did." Benny says. "That's good, and of course, no problem." Jack says smiling.
"Well, we're here." Jack says. "Yeah, thanks again." I say smiling, Jack started leaning in, I did too. "I'm still here." Benny says, he sounded pissed. "Oh, right." Jack says backing away. "I guess I'll see you at school tomorrow. Bye G." I say getting out. "Bye Cc." He says, Benny just got out and just headed home, no thank you or goodbye. Ouch...
Once I got home I quickly changed into my pjs and headed to bed. Today was amazing..
