Chapter 20: Morning with Mettaton

ANOTHER LONG ONE

It was 1:00 in the morning.

What is Alphys doing still up? Well on her laptop, as usual.

Alphys then let out a yawn. She noticed at the corner of her eye that the lights were still on.

'What are they doing still up?' Alphys thought.

Alphys then got up and got dressed in her nightgown. She walked out of her room and said, "Okay you two, time to go to-"

She realized that they were not there. Alphys paniced a little. She looked around and said,"Guys, where are you?"

Alphys started to think that they ran away, or that they got hurt.

Alphys then saw that Mettaton's door was closed. She tried to open the door, it is locked from the inside.

"S-shit! Mettaton! Papyrus! Are you in there?!" yelled Alphys.

Papyrus then woke up because of Alphys yelling. He was half asleep.

Papyrus got up and unlocked the door and opened it.

Alphys let out a gasp.

"P-Papyrus! Thank goodness you are okay! I-Is Mettaton there?" said Alphys trying to peek over Papyrus' shoulder.

"Alphys, you do realize it is one o'clock in the morning and you are yelling?" said Papyrus rather slow.

"Yes I know but is Mettaton-"

"Yes, Mettaton is powered off, now Alphys, have a goodnight and would you mind shutting off the lights please?" said Papyrus interrupting Alphys.

Alphys nodded and said,"Goodnight Papyrus."

Papyrus waved and slighty closed the door. He went back to bed cuddling Mettaton for comfort.

Alphys then shut off all of the lights and went back into her room. She put her laptop on her dresser and crawled into bed.

She pulled up the covers and started to fall asleep.

It is now 10:00 am.

Papyrus woke up and tried to wake up Mettaton.

"Mettaton, Mettaton," Papyrus said softly.

Papyrus started to shake Mettaton a little bit.

Then Mettaton opened his eyes and Papyrus heard a beeping noise meaning that Mettaton is powered on.

Mettaton looked over to see Papyrus on his knees and his hands on Mettaton's chest plate.

"Why, good moring Papy!" greeted Mettaton as he kissed Papyrus' nasal bone.

"Good morning Mettaton my dearest! I was trying to wake you up, if you didn't notice," said Papyrus.

Papyrus chuckled and Mettaton giggled,"Oh yes, I did notice."

Papyrus got his hands off of Mettaton's chest plate and Mettaton sat up. Mettaton then sat down at the edge of the bed and stood up.

Mettaton turned around so he can face Papyrus.

"Come on sweetie, I'll make you breakfast," said Mettaton.

Papyrus then perked up and jumped out of bed.

"No! I, The Great Papyrus will cook breakfast for the both of us!" said Papyrus as he ran to the door and opened it.

Papyrus was out of the room in a flash. Mettaton then giggled and said to himself,"Such a sweet skeleton."
