A Tale For Two

Chapter 16: Good grief

Alphys paused the Mew Mew Kissy Cutie episode and heard someone yelling outside.

"P-papyrus?" Alphys suspected.

Alphys got up and went over to the doors and opened the both of them.

She saw Papyrus yelling like an maniac, while Sans got out of Papyrus's car, using his magic to lift Mettaton up, since Mettaton was unconscious.

"Papyrus are you okay? What is going on?" Asked Alphys.

Papyrus turned around and looked at Alphys. He ran towards Alphys and said,"Alphys! Thank goodness you are here! Mettaton is really low on battery and he needs to be charged quick!"

Papyrus was shaking Alphys up and down with fear. Alphys was getting kinda dizzy. He stopped and Alphys said,"W-well bring him inside, I-I can fix him,"

Alphys walked back in with Papyrus running in front of her and Sans and Mettaton behind her.

"Sans, place Mettaton down to the nearest outlet, I'll go get his charger," Alphys told Sans.

"Sure," replied Sans.

Sans found an outlet on the wall and placed Mettaton there. Mettaton was still alive.

Alphys ran into Mettaton's room and was scrambling through his room to find the charger. She found the charger and went to where Mettaton was.

He plugged in the charger in the outlet then plugged the charger into Mettaton's back. Mettaton opened his eyes and heard a beep. That means he is charging.

Papyrus stood there and watch with joy. Mettaton looked over and Papyrus and saw that he was so happy. "Papyrus dearie, I'm fine now, you don't have to worry," said Mettaton.

Papyrus neeled on the ground to get closer to Mettaton and said,"I know you are okay, I am just so glad!"

Mettaton smiled and kissed Papyrus cheek bone. Sans looked over at Alphys and saw her fangirling saying,"It's so kawaii! I ship it!"

"Oh lord," Sans said to himself. Papyrus leaned in for a hug and hugged Mettaton. Mettaton hugged back.

Alphys snapped out of it and remembered what she was going to say to Mettaton.

"M-Mettaton, it's good that you are o-okay but please remember this time that y-you will ch-charge overnight okay? O-or at least in the m-morning?" stated Alphys.

Papyrus and Mettaton stopped hugging each other and Mettaton said,"Okay-"

Mettaton just remembered that Alphys hates when he calls her mom. Since Mettaton thought she was acting like a parent it would be the perfect time to say it.

"Mommy," giggled Mettaton.

"Eh?!" said Alphys is shock.

Mettaton started laughing as Alphys was embarrassed by what Mettaton called her, in front of Sans and Papyrus.

"M-Mettaton, please d-don't call me that!" said Alphys.

Sans snickered. "All right pal, it's time to go home and let Mettaton charge," said Sans.

"But Sans I want to be with Mettaton and make sure he is okay! Pretty please!" said Papyrus with his puppy eyes.

"I can't say no to that face," Sans thought.

"Oh alright, I'll let you stay-"

"Really?! Wowie! Thank you Sans!" cheered Papyrus as he got up with his face lit up.

"Heh, no problem. Just promise me that you won't get into trouble okay," said Sans.

"I promise! But wait, can I stay over night?"

"But Papyrus we-"

"Oh pretty please with spaghetti sauce on top?!"

Sans sighed and said,"Okay I'll let you stay over night,"

"Yay! Oh thank you agian dear brother! I shall give you, the thank you hug!" said Papyrus with glee.

Papyrus picked up Sans a couple inches of the ground so he could hug him. Papyrus hugged Sans and put him down.

"Heh heh, well I outta get going, Tori might call me," said Sans.

"Oh okay Sans! Bye!" waved Papyrus.

"Bye pap,"

Sans walked out of the door thinking,"Gee, he really wants me to go so he can hang out with Mettaton,"

Sans shut the doors behind him and he teleported home.

Papyrus looked over at Mettaton, still charging. "It might take me 30 minutes or an hour to charge back to 100," said Mettaton.

"Do not worry Mettaton, I, the great Papyrus will take care of you while you are charging!" said Papyrus.

Alphys went to the couch with the laptop on her lap watching Mew Mew Kissy Cutie.

Mettaton gave off a little smile.

This was going to be an interesting day.
