A Tale For Two

Chapter 17: Dance Room to Bedroom

It has been 3 hours.

Mettaton has full battery, Alphys is on her laptop still and Papyrus is sitting next to Mettaton on the couch.

They were both bored, they wanted to do something but didn't know what. Papyrus suggest that they should do a puzzle, but Mettaton didn't want to.

Then Mettaton came up with an idea. "How about we dance together? Great idea is it not?" suggested Mettaton.

"That is a great idea! Why didn't we think of this before?!" said Papyrus.

Mettaton shrugged and got up off the couch, Papyrus followed.

Mettaton walked over to his stereo and started playing music. Mettaton didn't know that Alphys' phone was connected to the stereo and strange music started playing that Mettaton didn't recognize.

"O-Oh no!" said Alphys had she got up and went to the stereo.

She unplugged her phone from the stereo and her face was red. She was so embarrassed.

"Alphys, what was that?" asked Mettaton.

"Um, I-It's nothing, really!" replied Alphys.

Mettaton gave Alphys a mysterious look, forcing her to cough it up.

"Okay- okay, it w-was, Sakura kiss- it's a catchy song okay?" confessed Alphys.

Both Mettaton and Papyrus were confused, and Alphys went back on her computer, with shame.

Mettaton shrugged and plugged in his phone into the stereo. He put on some nice slow dance music.

Papyrus looked at Mettaton, he saw that Mettaton had a smirk on his face. Mettaton walked closer to Papyrus and held his two boney hands.

Mettaton held them up in between his chest and Papyrus'. Mettaton looked at Papyrus straight in the eye sockets and said,"Okay, so what you want to do is take one step back and one step forward."

"Like this?" asked Papyrus as he did what he was told by Mettaton.

"Yes good. Now what you want to do while you are going back and forth is to sway your hips, and of course put our hands on my hips and guided me to the beat of your footsteps." said Mettaton.

Papyrus was sorta confused. He put his hands on Mettaton's hips and he started doing what Mettaton told him. Mettaton put his hands on Papyrus's shoulders.

Then by Alphys' perspective, Mettaton and Papyrus look like they are dancing like king and queen or prince and princess. Or king and king or prince and prince? This is confusing but higlhy romantic.

"Aw, you two are so cute to be honest," said Alphys with a smile.

Mettaton and Papyrus completely ignored that comment because they were oblivious of there surroundings, there eyes or eye sockets for this matter where concentrating on each other.

Then, Mettaton was fantasizing that he was the lovey queen and Papyrus was an handsome king, dancing in a ballroom together.

Then, all of a sudden Papyrus pulled Mettaton out and twirled him back in with a dip. Mettaton gasp and said,"Wow, you are learning very well so far darling,"

"Let's just say, I had some practice," said Papyrus.

Mettaton giggled and pulled Papyrus' head in for a kiss. He kissed Papyrus' smile.

Alphys was watching the whole thing. She thinks it is adorable that Mettaton and Papyrus are together, though she never thought that they would be a cute couple.
