Chapter 6

Chapter 6: Louis POV

I was really worried about what Olivia said earlier. She seemed like she was hurting since I've been with her. I always thought she might just be shy around people, but this... This was just.. Different. She fell asleep on me after breakfast when she was explaining her past. I hope she's not awkward around me now; I really liked her, and felt like I needed to protect her.

"Olivia?" I said as I was walking into her bedroom. I saw her standing there in only her bra and panties. "it's fine," she said like it was okay for me to be there.

"So.. I'm really sorry,"

"For what?" She asked

"Everything that happened, I had no clue,"

"I understand, it's a lot to take in," she said with a chuckle.

"Yeah, so I have one question,"

"Spit it out," she said, while putting on a different pair of my pants.

"What about school? Did you have anyone there?"

" Nope.. Unless you count the bullies as my friend," she said with a small chuckle, making me feel her pain.

We both returned downstairs.

"You know, you can always consider living with me long-term," I said to her just to break the silence. "Really?" She said like she was surprised. "I'll have to think about it,"

"So I really need some clothes, wanna come shopping with me," she said like she really wanted me to come. "Yes, but I have a say in your decisions, I don't want you looking like a slut," I said looking down at her. "Okay daddy".

She said laughing as I rolled my eyes.

We both walked into the car. "What are you doing?" I said. "I wanna drive," she said with a puppy face. "Sorry but I'm older so no," I said to her signaling her to move. We pulled out of the driveway and got stuck in bumper to bumper traffic."I need you to understand something," I said to Olivia as she looked at me concerned, like I just said I was a raging homosexual. "When your under my house, I have rules, I told her. "oh gosh, I'm rethinking this living long term thing, " she said while crossing her arms. "they're not that bad, baby," I said to her, trying to make her feel better. "Rule #1 your not allowed to go out any later than 10pm unless I'm with you, or I approve. Rule #2 your not allowed to use any foul language or dress inappropriately. Rule #3, I always drive, unless I give you permission. Rule #4, no boys or parties allowed in my house. Rule #5, when with a guy your not allowed to have any sexual intercourse. Lastly, rule #6, you have to always answer your phone." When I was done telling her the rules we say there silently until she said "Why didn't you tell me these earlier?"

"I didn't want you to run away from me. And besides I'm just looking after you. That's what people do when they're taking care of you."

"I moved here to get away from my boyfriend, who always bossed me around." She said like she was pissed.

We started arriving, and both of us hoped out of the car, and walked towards the mall entrance. "Where are we going to head, sir?" She said in a mocking tone. "Okay look," i said. "You don't have to be rude, then I'll take your phone privileges away now." She let out a sigh and started walking into some store and I followed behind her. Once I caught up to her she was holding a bag. "Wow that was quick what'd you get?" I said. She held up a pair of shorts, a bathing suit, and a tank top. "I'm not feeling to well do you wanna head home?" She asked me, but I knew it was not of that but because she wanted to get away from me. " no come on let's head into this store I had in mind," I said as smirking at her. I pointed to the Victoria secret sign, and she gave me a Hell no look. "Let's go," I whispered in her ear while pulling her into the store." What about this?" I questioned holding up a bra that had sexy lace on the side. "Your joking right?"

We were on the car ride home, after me forcing Olivia to buy it. She sat there silently looking out the window. "Well, you have enough clothes to last for tomorrow," I said while laughing. "Whatever Louis, I'll go tomorrow and buy someone stuff to last for the summer," she said while adding That's she go alone. "No way I'm letting you go into a mall all by yourself!!" I said "You could get raped or kidnaped!"

"Why are you so protective I don't understand it!!" Olivia said.

"Because I'm looking after you-

"No your not, you've barely known me for a week. Your not my dad! I can take care of myself I'm an adult."

"That wasn't my decision, you volunteered....

By the time she was done saying that we were already in the driveway. Right when I unlocked the doors she went running into the house and up the stairs."Olivia," I screamed.. You can't hide from me.

I saw her with her back towards me against the crease in the wall. I grabbed her waist and pulled her into me. "Please don't be mad at me. I'm only trying to protect you."

"I'm not I understand." she said and quickly walked over to my bed. She sat down, and tears pored out of her eyes. I ran over to her and befor I could say anything she swallowed hard and said, This happens a lot, don't be worried."

"Ow," she said as I grabbed her wrist to pull her arms around my torso. i looked downs and see slit and cuts and scabs down her wrists. "Did he do this to you?!?" I screamed really loud. "No

Louis it's all me," Olivia whispered in my ear. I hugged her for a long time, and set her back on my bed.

"Are you willing to go somewhere with me tonite?" I asked her hoping she'll say yes. "It depends, where?" she asked yawning. "To some party," i said very slowly. the expression on her face told me that she didn't want to go but i just ignored it. "Come on? PLEASE!!!!" I yquestioned. "I'll think about it but for now it's a definite no," she said while walking towards the kitchen.

"Well what do you wanna do today?" she asked. "Oh I'm glad you asked!!"

"Oh god, what is it?" she said with a giggle. She was so adorable. "Lets have a picnic!" i said while she almost chocked when she heard my ideas. "Sure, i should probably fix myself up though."
