It has been almost a year since Logan’s death; we have all grown closer as a pack in fear of what might happen to us if we split up. Since Logan left us Jacob has not been furthering his ability and I fear that he has given up hope. We have all taken up jobs in hope that this will keep our minds off of Logan and let us have a more normal carefree life. I know that it is these thoughts that will end up getting ourselves killed but it is for the good of the pack. I myself have stayed up every night, after the pack finally falls asleep, searching for any information I can find on other packs and also the location of Logan. The night before the funeral, Logan’s body went missing, I kept it locked in the back of my mind so that no one not even Anthony would hear about it. It never went on air and the next morning we buried that empty casket into the ground. I have been searching every day since trying to find him in hopes that he may actually have lived through it all. But where ever he is, he has kept it hidden from me and he seems to be to far out for me to see. What the pack also will never know is that I have been contacting two different packs; one in Europe and one near the Amazon to learn what I can about other packs and to know if they have seen Logan anywhere near them. The Amazons seem to have been a failure to both for they do not like to be with social contact. The European wolves are another story, they are said to be a biker gang that travels all over and have many packs as contacts. But none of the packs have seen Logan. I fear that he may actually be dead, and that if he is not alive than someone or something must have taken his body. Because of my late night searches I have been overly exhausted but because I am the manager of a successful tattoo shop, I am able to go into my office and sleep for most of the day. The tattoo shop is sitting on a huge clearing the size of two football fields where all of the businesses are. Anthony, Austin, Ramon, and myself all work at the tattoo shop, while Alicia and Jacob work at the music and comic book store across the clearing. The leader of the biker pack, Grant Gardel, told me of some talk around Europe about a shady new pack. I told him that if he knew anymore to keep me in the loop with everything. He and I both agreed that the last thing we need is a new pack causing trouble for our kind. We would have to put an end to it, and that meant the destruction of that pack. There had been no new information from the Amazonian tribe, but even that didn't calm my nerves.
It had been almost 4 months since I had heard anything from either pack, I had started to get worried but I knew this was just good for myself and my pack. Not hearing any new information just might mean that there was just no new information. But for some reason, in the back on my head, was this nagging that something was seriously wrong. It was unlike Grant to leave me out of the loop, so instead I just went back to searching for Logan myself. I kept looking and telling myself that everything was alright, that Grant and the Amazons just haven’t found anything new to tell me. But as two more months past I started to get really worried and on edge. Than that fateful day came.
