We raced down the road towards the woods lining the city. Once we got past the first line of trees we jumped up, ripping into wolves. We came crashing back down and started running again. My muscles pulled on themselves as I took longer strides, propelling myself forward. We broke through trees as we jumped and tackled each other, nipping at fur playfully. We all tumbled into a clearing in the woods, slowly getting back up we encircled one another. Huffing slowly Grant stepped forward, the packs came to a halt, his black fur glistening in the moonlight.

'Why don't we teach you how real wolves fight.' his eyes shining with excitement.

'Frank? Mind helping me teach these sorry excuses for wolves?' I nodded my head chuckling quietly. Stepping forward slowly I positioned myself across from Grant, lowering my body down closer to the ground.

'Cowering already?' Grant barked out a laugh and I just shook my head grinning.

'You wish.' with that Grant lept forward, racing towards me head lowered and teeth bared. I started shifting my weight from one foot to the other. Pawing at the ground slowly I waited for his fatal move. He leapt at me, mouth open wide, ready to grab ahold of my neck. I shifted my weight over to the side and turned so that my nose dragged along his jugular vein. My jaw latched onto his neck and threw him back down onto the ground. His body flopped against the cold grass covered clearing as he struggled to get back onto his feet. I released his neck from my jaw and let him rise back up to his feet.

'Was that real enough for you?' I turned my head in question and he barked out a laugh.

'Let me just say that I am, in fact, quite surprised at your skills. Do all of your wolves fight like that?' I shook my head slowly.

'I haven't had time to train them yet' Grant nodded his head and slowly changed back into a human. After a few seconds we were all back into our human forms.

"So, I believe we should see just how well these wolves fight." Grant said, clapping his hands together. I turned to the packs, bringing my hands behind my back, grabbing a hold of my wrists.

"Remember, that when you fight against a wolf, they fight dirty. Stay calm and let them make the first move. They will make a mistake and you will beat them." I kept pacing in front of them. I stopped and pointed at Lindsey, beckoning for her to come forward.

“I want you to shift and try to attack me. I will stay in my human form.” Lindsey smirked at me before she ripped back into a wolf and sprinted off towards me. I stood completely still and continued to talk as I fought her.

“When you deal with a mind reader,” I pushed my arm out at the last second, sending Lindsey sprawling in the dirt.

“You must stay calm and remember not to think  about your moves, because they will find that information. You have to keep your mind blank and block them out.” she jumped from behind me and I ducked causing her to fly over me and fall to the ground.

“You have to notice their weaknesses before they figure out yours.” she ran directly at me, teeth bared and head down. I brought my arms down and in one swift movement, when she was close enough, lifted up and sent her sprawling through the air.

“If you will notice that she always makes direct cuts, which makes her very predictable,” I turned quickly right as she leapt forward and caught her neck in my hand, squeezing ever so slightly.

“and dead.” I said slowly before dropping her to the ground. She changed back into her human form, coughing and sputtering on the ground. There were bruises on her neck from where my hand was.

“You лохи, you have no right to lay hand on me. I fought more than you had in life time! Не говорите мне, что я делаю не так.” she huffed as she glared at me. I heard Grant’s laugh as he came over to me, clapping me on the shoulder.

“I guess we all must take lessons from you.” he smiles at me as he chuckled again. Grant turned to the packs and smiled, his hand still on my shoulder.

“See, you do not have to be a wolf to defeat one. You can still fight as a human and have the same advantages. Let them see you as a weak human so that you have the upper hand. Like Frank here!” he looked back down at me with the same smile, before he belted.

“Let the training begin!”
