"Jene. Think about it. It would be better if you came.", Liam insisted. Jene didn't answer. He just sat there and did nothing. Then, Rain stood up and headed towards the door.
''I'll get some food for the trip and some other stuff. Okay Liam?" Rain announced and left Jene's house. Liam followed her. Jene went to his room after they left. When Rain got to her house she went to her room and started putting stuff in a bag. When she was done she took one last look at her house. She didn't know if she would ever come back. In come way she didn't want to come back, then he remembered about all the bad stuff that had happened to her there. Then it was clear, If she did get rid of the keekker, she would never return to the village. Ever.
'' Ready to go? We'll go inside the Nettle cave and wait for the keekkers.If we're lucky they wont see or smell us.", Liam said. Rain nodded and the headed towards the nettle cave.
Finally the went inside the Nettle Cave, Rain sat down. Then she looked at Liam. Is it just me or is Liam growing bigger she thought. Before she knew it Liam was a lion sized cat! She jolted in fear.
" No need to fear Rain. I only turned this size so I could protect you.", Liam explained. She looked at him with her mind full of questions. Liam's hissed and his ears pointed up.
'' What's wrong Liam?'', she asked sounding worried
'' Someone followed us," Liam answered " some one who said he wasn't comming. Some one who is hiding behind a rock''. Rain saw the big rock and thought it looked more like a boulder.
She looked closer. She saw a strand of light brown hair. She smiled with a ton of exitement. He had followed them.
''Jene" she said
