Ready to eat?

chapter 10

        The keekkers flew into the town and screams were heard all over the town. Rain watched the horror and tears ran down her cheaks. One of the keekkers sounded really close. So there they were, mice standing in the darkness. Screeech!!!

          '' Don't worry. We're mice, the don't want to eat small creatures like us.", Liam explained. Rain notticed that she was trembing in fear.  She looked at Liam, the voice told here to trust him. Her mind filled up with questions. More keekers came and there was blood all over the place. 

         '' Rain, are you okay?",Jene asked. Rain looked back at Jene in a dreamy.

      ''Yeah. Thanks.", she answered. Jene was the only one she had that she loved, and liked. She looked at him and did a mouse blushed. She looked at the village.________________ Two ours had passed and the attack was almost over and some of  the keekkers were already headed towards Nettle Cave.

         ''I'm gonna have to turn both of you into birds if you want to keep up with the keekers. They are faster than hawks you know?", Liam explained. Jene looked angry and slightly annoyed. Rain was already ready to accept his offer but, Jene might reject. The only one I want with me is Jene, he makes me feel safe, I don't to go anywhere without him Rain thought.

        '' Since they don't want to eat anything small we'll have to small birds right? The bird has to be fast too so..... maybe.... a hawk or a falcon.", Jene blurted out. Liam shook him head.

           '' A hawk and a falcon are too big and the keekkers will smell us out and eat us---" Liam explained.

                 '' Then what do you ant to do?", Jene interupted. Liam looked at Jene in annoyence. 

             '' I can mix the jeens of a falcon and the worlds smallest bird and turn you into that."

              '' Wait! You can do that?!", Rain interupted in a large squeak sounding exited.

             Then the felt as if really cold had landed on them. The water being so cold made them close their eyed. When they opened their eyes they were really tin birds. Before they could chirp in horror Liam flew towards the last keekker. They both followed him.

 Rain: Dark brown hair, brown eyes, 11 inch hair.

Jene: light brown hair, hazzle eyes, short hair
