Ready to eat?

chapter 14

 Rain started to cry. She was alone. Liam and Jene had left to someplace she didn't know. She pet Chibo's soft furr.

  '' Don't die! Don't leave me! Please! I'm so sorry! Please don't die!" Rain cried. She hugged the keekkers head tight. It was dead. Then, Rain fell to the ground cying!  There was a puddle of tears. Rain's worst fear was to be alone. Now,she was alone. She curled up into a ball and her crieng seemed to stop. There was a moment of silence. She fell asleep.

   In her dream. She saw Jene, he was with Liam. They were both running towards the keekkers. Then she saw herself. Also running towards the keekkers!Then she saw a person running behind her. Then two, then three. Soon there was twenty! Then people kept running eith her! It looked as if she and the people were chasing out the keekkers! Then she saw moth! He was smiling and waving to her. Rain, your brother is not dead. You will be the one who brings him back. You are the one that will defeat the keekkers. Sometimes I wish my father had never built them. The voice told her. The same voice. 

 Rain woke up. She sat up. Then she saw Chibo on the floor . Dead. She pet his horn. She looked forward. Rain, look up.the voice told her.  She looked up. Then, out of the clouds, she saw a gust of wind going towards her. The gust of wind turned into a body! Standing next to her! Face to face! 

 '' Hello Rain. My name is Winter. I am the one who was talking to you.'' the woman told her. Actually the woman looked like a teen!  She was a very slender teen. She had  ocean blue eyes and her white as silver hair complimented it! She was wearing a cloud pink dress that went up to her knees. She had a funny pattern on it. Rain recognized it! Rain looked back at Chibo. Rain looked at his horns. He had the same pattern on his horns! She looked back at Winter.

 '' How are you related to the keekkers? Rain asked trembling. Winter looked at her and smiled. She walked towards Chibo and sat down. She looked at Rain with her blue eyes.

 '' Long ago my father was a chemist for Tanzanite. By the way, Tanzanite is where queen Yvette lives. My father found a way to mix goat jeans with another animal. He though a dragon would be amazing so he looked for dragon bones. It took 1 year to finally find them. First he made a miniature dragon and goat. When he showed it to The ruler before Yvette he refused. He told my father that making an animal like that would make the destruction of mankind. My dear foolish father did not listen! He make the keekkers 5 times bigger. I tried to stop him put he pushed me away and I fell and landed on a huge needle pointing up. I died the day he made his first keekker. The king threw my father out of the village. My father was furious and took his keekkers with him! He made his lab outside the village and multiplied the keekkers. Soon there was too many to feed and he desided the needed humans. So evey time they were hungry he would let them out to eat humans. The king died a few years after and a new ruler apeared. Now, I have been sent from heaven to help you out. Rain, you have to deafet the keekkers!''

 Rain was suprised at what Winter had just said. The story was amazing! She looked at Chibo.  She had remamber what has happened. She started crying softly. Winter looked at Rain.

 '' This keekker saved my life!" Rain shouted'' he didn't  need to die".

 '' Then I'll bring him back to life''. Rain looked at her and whispered:

 '' can you do that?".

'' Yes, but I can only bring back animals. Bringing back humans is impossible". Winter explained. Winter put her palm on Chibo's head. It started to light up! Chibo's whole body started to light up! 

 '' Dues in caelo. Hunc perduc ad vitam animalis!'' She she chanted. Chibo stopped glowing! Rain looked closer. His ear moved! The his head move towards Rain. RAIM he cried out. Rain ran towads him as fast as she could!

 '' Thank you  Winter!" Rain thanked. Rain hugged Chibo's neck.
