                                Jessica's perspective

It's finally the day of the swim tournament. It's a Saturday and I'm ready to win this year. I'm faster than last year.
Everyone from school is here. And of course my mom and boyfriend is here to. Even his mom here.
  "Jess" yelled Lucy.
  "Yeah" I yelled back.
"Don't push yourself to hard" she said.
"I'll try" I said and turned around.
So far we're winning. But by a little bit. I'm next and I'll make sure there will be a gap difference. I have to swim 100 meters and touch the wall before everyone here. That isn't that hard since I have to do that every day. But still I have to win this for my team. For my dad.
My father's in the military and we record everything I play. But this is different. This I have to win. A lot of people are depending on me to. And I'm not going to let them down.
The girl in front of me touches the wall and I'm off. In the water I can feel the other girls on my tail but once I push of  the other wall I'm way In front of them. Out of the corner of my eye I can see someone catching up but right the I get faster. I'm pushing my self. It's in my nature to. I get that front dad.
I'm finally on the the last lap and I can feel my legs burning. But I'm almost there and the other girls are far behind me. Once I touch the wall I feel a strike of pain in my right leg. I claim out of the pool and my whole team runs up toe and hugs me. I turn around and all of the girls are on there second to last lap.
"I guess I went to fast" I said.
  "You think" said Emma.
I laugh and walk over to my mom. She hugs me so tight.
"How did I do" I ask.
"You pushed your self. Didn't you" asked Lucy looking at me.
"Maybe" I said and rubbed the back of my head.
She walks of to Me and hugs.
"Good job. I'm proud of you" she said.
  "Thanks" I said.
"You went really fast. Was there a purpose" asked Jason.
"My dad's in the military and he can't see my games so we record them and send them to him" I say.
"What if your dad was here" asked Brian.
"I would be happier. I would be enlightened to see my father. It's been a year or so" I say.
"Well I guess you'll be happy if I appeared out of nowhere right" a voice says behind me.
I turn around to see my dad behind me. Tears of joy escape my eyes as I jump into my dad's arm.
  "Hi dad" I said.
  "Hi honey."
  "I missed you" I say.
  "I missed you too."
"Wait how did you even get here" I asked and pulled away from our hug.
"Your mom told me the date to come. And I got here in time to watch you" he said.
  "Thanks mom" I say.
  "No problem."
  "So what now" asked Brian.
  "I'm hungry" I say.
  "Lets get food" said Jason.
"Sounds good but before we do. Is it true your dating my daughter Jason" asked my dad.
"How did you know" I asked.
"Your mother told me before I got here" he said
  "It's true" said Jason.
"I couldn't be more happier. I'm glad it's you son" my dad said.
"Me to. I'm glad I got to her first" Jason said.
I look down and blush. I'm still not used to this.
"And Lucy are you going to join our family" asked my father.
"If that's ok with you" she said.
"It's fine. I would love another daughter" he said.
  "Thank you" she said.
  "No. Thank you."
"Anyway. Let's get food! I'm starving" I say.
"Alright let's go" said Jason grabbing my hand.
"Where do you want to go" asked my mom.
"I don't care. Where ever you want" I said.
"How about Red Robin? I've been craving that place for ever" said Brian.
"Yeah that sounds good to me" I say.
  "Lets go" said Jason.
As we walk to the car I see Ivy and her group looking at me. I look away and tell myself that they can't hurt me. Well I hope they won't. It'll will be more painful for them if they start something.
  "You ok" asked Jason.
  "I'm fine" I say.
"Are you sure" he said looking in the direction I was.
  "Yeah" I say.
  "Ok" he says.
Once we get to the restaurant, Jason stop me from entering.
"What's up with you and Ivy" he asked.
  "Nothing" I say.
"I know there's something going on. What is it. We can handle it now, as a couple" he said with a smile.
"Ivy told me to stay away from you. I told her that I wouldn't. And now I'm afraid that she'll cause drama and try to break us up" I say, tears flooding into my eyes.
"They won't. They don't know what we have. If they try anything then I'll be right by your side" he said.
I nod my head and look at him. I notice something behind him. Then I realize that it was Ivy.
I grab his collar and pull him into a kiss. He kissed me back after a moment of confusion. It was a passionate kiss. It was like I was in a fairy tale. It made me feel happy.
I pull away and see Jason red face.
"Am I a good kisser or what" I say laughing.
  "Yeah you are" Jason smiled.
"I'm glad you think so" I say.
"Lets go sit down" he said grabbing my hand.
"Yeah" I say walking in the restaurant.

                Lucy's perspective

"Did you see that" I asked Brian
"Yeah. I can't believe they had their first kiss" he said.
"I know right. Usually Jess would wait...." I stop my sentence when I see Ivy watching them kiss.
  "That's why" I say.
  "What" asked Brian.
"Ivy's out there. Usually Jess waits for the first move but she wanted to clarify that she needs to stay away from her man" I say.
  "Makes sense" he says.
"I would do the same" I say.
"Really?"
  "Umm... Yeah" I say blushing.
"Your so cute" he says kissing me on the cheek.
I blush a bright red. He notices right away and chuckles.
"Your still cute" he says.
"I can say the same to you" I say and smile.
"Awww. Flirting I see" said Jess.
"Awww. Kissing I see" I said with a smirk.
Jess got remand sat down. Jason was smiling but blushing as well.
"Jess you need to control your blushing. Your going to turn into a rose" said her dad.
  "Dad!"
"What?! It's true. Your my little rose" he said smiling.
Jesse's face turned to a darker shade of red.
"And my beautiful rose" said Jason kissing her on the cheek.
"Ugggghhh! Everyone is out to get me" she said and put her head in her hands.
"What does that mean" asked her dad.
  "Nothing" she said.
"Jess, what does that mean" Jason asked.
"I really don't feel like talking about" she said.
"Jessica. Is there something wrong" asked her mom.
"No. Just miss someone. That's all" she said.
"Who. Is it a sibling" asked Jason with a worried look on his face.
"Yeah. More than a sibling in a way. I miss my twin" Jess says.

               Jason's perspective

"You have a twin" I said.
"Yeah. It's been awhile since I've seen him. I've been writing to him almost every day but he never replies back. I leave him voice mails, emails, and text but he never replies. I know where he is. He just won't reply. I'm getting worried about him" she says.
  "What's his name" I say.
  "L-Luca" she says in tears.
"It's ok" I say and hugs her.
"Take her outside dude" Brian whispers.
"Jess do you want fresh air" I asked.
She nodded. We both got up and I took her outside.
"So your twin is ignoring you" I asked.
"I guess. I really don't know" she said putting her hands in her face.
"Jess. It's going to be alright" I say.
"How can you tell" she said.
I grab her hands and put them to her side then put my hand on her cheek.
"Everything's going to be ok. I promise you that I will do everything I can to keep you happy" I say
  "Cross your heart" she says.
  "Cross my heart" I say.
  "Hope to die."
"Hope to die" I say and lean in for a kiss.
