A/N: Yay!! Two chapters this week lol :) I'll be posting another chapter next week <3 Cody and Chance will be coming up soon.
SANG POV
I'm so nervous I can barely eat the pancakes sitting in front of me. Our meeting is in twenty minutes and I'm afraid none of the guys are going to show up! I haven't seen them in a few weeks, but I've spoken to all of them through phone, email, text and everything seemed okay. We talked about school, sports, music, television, politics...pretty much everything! Although Kota never mentioned trying to get my homework for me like Jay had mentioned. Come to think of it--none of my friends mentioned any of the other guys during our conversations.
Weird. How did I not realize this before? Now I feel even less like eating, what if my worries are true. They've had this time to think about the situation and now they want to back out? No it can't be, they promised they would try. They're just nervous, like me. Right, Sang? Yes, Sang nervous!
The harsh ring of the doorbell knocks me out of my crazy talk and almost knocks me off my seat as well. "I'll get it!" I hear Liam say from somewhere in the living room. I bury myself in my plate of pancakes using my hair as a curtain to try and avoid them for as long as possible.
"Luke, come on in. North check your attitude at the door before you enter." Liam says sternly and I think he did a pretty good impression of Henry.
I peek a little out of my hair curtain to see if I can catch a glimpse of my friends, but I can't see around the corner hallway. I can only hear North speak. He clears his throat a little first, "Sir, I just wanted to apologize for my behavior."
"Nope!" Liam interrupts him, "You apologize to my wife and daughter. Lily is in the office you can see her first." With that Liam walks away and I catch North walking past me to go to the family office and find Lily. Luke saddles up right next to me, "Awww Sang, I brought you breakfast, but you already ate."
I look down at my plate and see two practically whole pancakes and scrunch my eyebrows together. Already ate? My entire plate is full. "Umm, I just had a couple bites, I wasn't really hungry." I tell Luke.
"Well I made pancakes too but mine have chocolate chips with extra chips!" He says with a wink and all of a sudden I'm at ease again. "You know what? I'm hungry now." I exclaim with a smile as he hands me the tupperware he's holding.
"Okay you eat the ones I made while I finish your plate so it doesn't go to waste." he says grabbing my plate and digging in with the fork I was using.
"Aww Luke you didn't make any pancakes for yourself? Just me?" It makes me feel special that he made pancakes just for me.
With a mouth full of pancakes I can barely understand Luke speak, "Mwelh, Iah ahlrehdy ahaef mihne af hohme."
He already ate his at home? Well I don't feel so special anymore. No wait I still do because he probably got an ear full from North and still made them anyways. Speak of the devil! North just walked into the kitchen and leans against the wall looking solemn. The air just got heavy with the big elephant in the room. I heard my dad tell him to apologize to me, but is he going to do it right now with Luke here? Does Luke know what happened?
I remember what Jay told me. That I need to set boundaries that I am comfortable with, but I don't really want to talk about that right now. And I especially can't talk about it at the meeting...my parents will be there!! I sure hope he doesn't apologize right this second.
"Northy poo have some pancakes you'll feel better." Luke tells his brother waving a fork full of pancakes, smothered in syrup, in his face.
"Too much sugar, you know that Lucian." He says, his arms still crossed in front of him. The doorbell rings and Luke scurries away to open it. Leaving me alone with North for just a minute or two until more of my friends walk in. I see him take a deep breath and push off the wall he was leaning against. Oh dear, he is going to apologize right now! "North, you don't have to..." Before I can finish my sentence he pushes a paper into my hand and walks out of the kitchen. Leaving me flabbergasted and slightly curious I hurriedly open the note. It reads, 'I am so sorry Sang. Do you still like me?' With two check boxes: yes or no.
