"Oppa, let's go on the Ferris Wheel!" You squeal to your boyfriend, Joshua. He nods and you race to the small line.
"Be careful Jagi! I don't want you to fall and scrape your knee." You roll your eyes and smile at Joshua, who is running towards to you.
"Joshuaaa, why must you be so overprotective?" He smiles at you as you hug the teddy bear he won for you in a game.
"I just don't want to see my princess in pain, that's all." You blush and kiss his cheek, then lay your head on his shoulder. You guys have been in the carnival all day and the sun was beginning to set.
You and Joshua have been dating for about 7 months now and you loved him so much. You just didn't know how to tell him but you plan on doing it tonight, while on the Ferris Wheel. It just seemed like the perfect time to you.
You and Joshua reach the ticket guy and Joshua hands him two tickets. He steps to the side and waits for you to get inside. What a gentleman. You climb inside, moving to the left while leaving your cute bear behind.
The ride moves and soon enough you guys were at the top.
"You look beautiful Y/N." He grabs your hand and intertwines your fingers with his. You smile at him and squeeze his hand.
"And you look handsome as always." He blushes and kisses you. The kiss lasts for a couple of seconds before Joshua pulls away from you, staring at you with admiration in his eyes.
"Y/N, I need to tell you something." He clears his throat and faces towards you.
Okay, now is the time to tell him.
"I need to tell you something as well." You say, fiddling with your fingers and take a strand of hair, placing it behind your ear. It was a habit of yours when you were nervous.
"You can go first." He says, smiling at you. You blush at his manners but shake your head.
"No its okay. You go first." He nods and rubs his hand together.
"We have been together for a pretty long time now and I'm so glad that I met a girl like you. You shed light in all my dark places and you bring out a side of me that no one knows exist. You encourage me to continue doing what I love and you help me when I'm down. You are so perfect and I am so lucky and happy that I found a girl who brings me happiness in such a cruel world." His thumb wipes off a tear that has fallen from your eyes and smiles.
"Y/N, what I'm trying to say is that I love you." You become speechless and your grip on his hand tightens. He becomes worried with your reaction and puts his hands on your face.
"You don't need to return the feelings, babygirl. I just had to let that out because I am falling in love with you and I don't think i will ever stop falling in love with you." You grab his face with your hands and smash his lips against yours. It was a passionate kiss, slow and sweet. Your hands automatically move to his neck and he pulls you closer to him as if you weren't close enough.
You pull away from him, catching your breath and your foreheads touch together.
"I love you too, Hong Jisoo and I can't wait to make amazing memories with you." He gives you a short kiss and you lay your head on his shoulder while he lays his head on yours.
"You know we have been up here for a long time." Joshua says, removing his head.
"Yeah we have actually." You look down to see a bunch of workers looking at the machines and wires.
"I think we are stuck up here." You giggle and Joshua looks at you.
"Why are you laughing? We might be here all night." He says, concerned.
"Well We may be here all night but we have snacks." You say, pointing to the cotton candy, popcorn and soda by your feet. "We have the sunset and I have you." He smiles and kisses your temple.
"Be prepared for the lamest stories ever." You giggle. He chuckles.
"I can't wait to hear them."
And so that is how the night went. You guys eventually got off the ride and the others all bombarded you with questions but only answered a few. You and Joshua finally said I love you to each other and as if today could've been any better. You guys also went back to your apartment where things got a little bit steamy for the first time...Okay well more than a little.
I mean there is a first time for everything.
