Your hands grabbed the cold, metal bar and pulled the coffee shops door open. The sounds of people typing, coffee mugs clicking against the wooden table and the scraping of chairs as customers left and entered the small, hidden shop, engulfed your ears.

"Hi Sam!" You said, greeting the barista what was swarmed with orders.

"O-oh hey Y/N! The usual?" He asked while pressing buttons on the espresso machine.

"Yeah-but Sam, take your time." You said, not wanting Sam to feel rushed. You had just moved to Seoul and found this small cafe on the corner of your street.

You took a seat near the window on a long narrow table that had chairs and coasters for your mug. You placed your bag on the chair next to you, knowing that no one would sit next to you when all the chairs are empty. You took out your laptop and began to open your research paper guild lines.

As you waited for your coffee, you continued to research topics that could be used for your assignment, "Life Without Music."

You heard the familiar jingles of the doorbell and exchanges of words as you waited for your coffee. Five more people entered the coffee shop and sat down at your table. Only two chairs were available, one diagonal from you and one in front of you.

Even as the intense sound of Bazzi, an american singer, blasting through your earbuds, you still heard the scrapping of chairs and the sound of someone typing on their keyboard. You gathered all the research you collected and began to start your ten page research paper.

You opened up Microsoft and began to type your name when your gaze slowly turned to a boy who sat diagonal from you, waving his hands back and forth, trying to get your attention.

You lifted your head and took out your right earbud.

"Hi, I'm sorry but its just-its rare to catch someone who listens to Bazzi these days but I-I just wanted to commend you for your music taste." He said, stuttering on his words from time to time. You stared at him, feeling your nerves rising.

"No-no, its totally fine. I'm just surprised you heard the music." You said, chuckling slightly, embarrassed that the music must have been loud enough for others to hear.

"I-I mean I wasn't bothered by it, I don't know about everyone else but.." He chuckled at the end, making you smile.

"Well, Im glad we can share an appreciation for Bazzi." You said, smirking at the cute boy.

Sam approaches the table with two coffee mugs.

"Sorry I took so long but it was made with extra love." Sam said, already apologizing due to your merciless glare.

Sam set down the boys cup first, winking at him in the process.

"I'm Joshua." The boy said, extending his hand.

Sam set down your cup and you moved to the side along with Joshua to get a clearer view of each other due to Sam's interruption.

You shook Joshua's hand, "Y/N." Sam winked at you in secret and walked away slyly.

"Beautiful name." He said, taking a dip of his coffee.

You blush and your gaze automatically diverts to your mug.

"So tell me, I live just around the corner and come here all the time and yet I have never seen such a beautiful face here...like ever."

You laughed and picked up your coffee mug, "You probably come on my H.O.H Days"

He stares at you, confused, "H.O.H days?"

You take a sip and place your mug in front of you, "Hung Over Hibernation Days-when i'm too hungover to leave my bed."

He laughed at your joke, saying," Oh really? Is that a traditional name that solely you created or..?"

You shake your heard, "My friends and I made it up. Its a funny story actually."

"I'd loved to hear it." Joshua said, leaning forward, the small action effective enough to make you blush.

"I-I don't know. Its kind of a long story." You said, not wanting to share the story YOU find funny and he might not.

"Well, Y/N, I certainly do have a quite a bit of free time." He said, switching seats so that he is now sitting in front of you.

"Uh-okay then. Its really long so get comfortable." You said, warning him.

"Thats what she said—and don't worry, I wish to talk to you all day if i can." He said, smoothly taking a sip of his coffee.

"Okay well, one day, a friend of mine decided to host a sleep over..." You continued on with your story and all the while, Joshua laughed at many parts of the story and stared at you with interest and admiration.

Joshua told you about his life, excluding his fame as if it didn't exist. You both continued to laugh at each others stories until Joshua felt a familiar buzz in his pants.

"Excuse me, just one second." He said, getting up and going outside.

You gazed out the window for a small moment before it diverted to Joshua.

"That was my boss, I should probably get going." He said with a hint of regret.

"O-oh, no problem. I should probably get going to, I have..that um....meeting.." You said, pretending to have important plans.

"Alright, good. Here.." He said, grabbing a napkin and your pen. His face was right next to yours and you could smell his cologne that made you want to fall back in your chair. His lips were gorgeously plumped and his hair looked incredibly soft. You doze off while staring at him, amazed by how attractive he was. It was almost as if an angel slapped you across your face, kissed your forehead and walked away.

He handed you the napkin, your faces still extremely close.

"My number-because I would love to see you again."

You blushed, looking down at the napkin. He moved away from you, not forgetting to smile at you and wave goodbye.

You sighed with infatuation for the boy who was way out of your league.

"He's hot, isn't he?" Sam suddenly says, peering from the side of you.

"Too hot Sam. People who walk around looking like that should get arrested." You said.

"Mhmm, I feel you on that one." Sam said as you both continued to gaze at the door.
