The next day, Samantha went to the library, pulling every book out of the shelves that might have something to do with werewolves. She stayed and read for about an hour, until her stomach growled so loudly that the librarian was giving her an angry look.

The girl, who decided to go with blue hair today, forcefully shut the book and strut out of the library, feeling the stares of other students in her back. She was used to- and liked - the stares she got for the bright colors of her hair.

While she walked through the halls, she looked for anyone with bruises or cuts, but everyone she met seemed healthy and -unlike her- had no dark circles under their eyes.

It was already quarter past nine, so she quickly ate some bread with scrambled eggs, before all the food would disappear. She was just about to go back to the common room to find Regulus before Potions when she overheard an interesting conversation of two Ravenclaws.

"Yes, it's Aaron. He is in the hospital wing, I don't even know what the kid was up to last night. He told me that he would study more for Astrology, but how does one break an arm while studying?"

Samantha could't believe her luck. How could she not have thought about the hospital wing before? With only half an hour left to get to Potions, she sprinted through the corridors.

After five minutes and all out of breath, she arrived, to find five boys and a girl in the beds. Just when she walked in, she realized that she had not thought this through. She knew nobody in here and it would look super weird if she just walked around, asking everyone if their name was Aaron.

She only recognized Remus Lupin, and he was friends with those idiots, but she was left with no other choice so she walked over to him with a smile.

"Hey, Lupin. Nice to see you. Are you feeling better?"

Remus furrowed his eyebrows: "You don't like us" he stated.

"Well, I don't like James and Sirius, but you haven't done anything wrong. So tell me, which one of the guys is Aaron?"

Remus burst out laughing, but then immediately stopped, holding his ribs. "So you're looking for a the keeper of the Ravenclaw Quidditch team? What do you want with him, he is two years older than you."

Samantha's heart beat faster when she heard that he was in the third year. The profile fit perfectly.

"Well it's a bet. Can you please tell me who it is before I have to leave to go to potions?", she begged, smiling her nicest smile.

"Fine, it's the tall one with brown hair. You can be quite persuasive", Remus winked and grinned, making Samantha laugh. "Thank you, Lupin. And I didn't think that you would be this nice."

"I am full of surprises", Lupin joked, but something in his eyes Samantha couldn't quite figure out.

"Thank you again, but I have to get to class now. I wish you a good recovery from whatever you have", she said, waving while she walked out.

The next weeks, Samantha tried to keep an eye on Aaron as much as she could, but it was getting hard since Regulus kept asking questions and Aaron had seen her a few times, making her blush and quickly turn around, pulling her best friend with him

"So you're telling me that you don't like him, but yet again we just magically end up near him again?", Regulus asked after he had noticed that we were standing near Aaron and his group of friends again.

"No, I don't. I just want to find something out", Samantha started, but she knew that she couldn't explain to him what she was looking for. Even though she trusted him, her mother had warned he not to tell her secret to anyone. It could be used against her, she could be used as a valuable weapon.

"Then what the heck do you want to find out?", he asked again, rolling his eyes. "Sam. This is getting ridiculous. You need to find yourself a girlfriend to talk about stuff like this."

"Wait, you can't leave me here", Sam said, when Regulus turned around to leave, but he had made up his mind. If she had a crush on him, he would not be the one to help her with it, since he could not bear the thought of her with another boy. He needed to go and let out his anger in a classroom before he punched some innocent kid.

"You would be a horrible spy

"You would be a horrible spy."

Samantha jumped at the sound of the voice and when she turned around, she saw none other than Aaron standing in front of her. His eyes were blue like the lake and he was more than a head bigger than him.

"W-what makes you say that?", she asked, hoping that she didn't look like a tomato right now.

"Well, first of all: You have bright blue hair and it kind of stands out. Second, you are very obvious when you are talking about someone who is standing twenty feet away. So why are you following me around?"

"I definitely don't have a crush on you", Samantha blurted out, only realizing how stupid it sounded after she had said it. The boy smirked, standing there like he knew how good he looked.

"Actually, you narcissistic teenager, she was looking for me. I asked her to help me with Transfiguration and told her to meet me here. Maybe you don't look as amazing as you think", someone behind Samantha said, saving her from this uncomfortable situation. The girl linked arms with her and grinned at the puzzled boy.

"Exactly, and that is why we have to go to the library right now, bye. Nice meeting you", Samantha said, quickly gaining her self-confidence back and walked past Aaron, pulling brunette with her.

"Thank you so much! You saved my social life. You are Sky Macmillan, right?", she said as soon as Aaron was out of sight and hugged the Slytherin girl.

"No problem. And yes I am. To repay me you could actually help me in Transfiguration. I am so lost in that subject."

"Anything for you! "

"But now tell me, do you have a crush on Aaron Brown? I mean, keeper of the Ravenclaw team. I think that is amazing. I'd rather be a chaser though, just waiting on front of the goal the whole game seems a little boring."

"Really? You want to play Quidditch as well? That's awesome! We could be chasers together!", Samantha squeaked, clapping her hands.

Sky laughed: "Yeah, we can train together and then go to the tryouts next year. I have a broom."

"But first years aren't allowed-"

"Rules are there to break them is my motto", Sky grinned, making Samantha laugh: "You and I are going to be great friends!"
