"So you know, tomorrow is the first trip to Hogsmeade ", Regulus said, nervously kneading his hands.

"I know! I am so excited. You, Sky and me can just buy all the candy we desire", Samantha exclaimed, only to realize that she was in history class. But the teacher, who was a ghost, didn't even seem to realize and just kept reading from his dusty old books.

"Yes, but I just wanted to ask you, I you maybe want to go to Madame Puddifoot's Tea Shop without Sky and we could you know talk." Regulus had never been more nervous in his life, not even before the Quidditch tryouts or when he had done something wrong and knew that his mother was going to scream at him. He wanted to ask Sam out on a date, but she didn't seem to get any on his hints.

"Sure we can, but don't we talk all the time? And why don't you want to have Sky there? Are we planning a prank on her?"

"No, no pranks, Sam. I would just like to drink a coffee with you, and I could buy you one", Regulus tried to explain, but he couldn't ask the simple question. He had liked Sam from day one and now he felt butterflies every time he looked at her.

"I don't really understand what you are trying to say. Do you owe me money or why do you want to buy me a coffee?"

"For God's sake, he is trying to ask you out on a date!", the girl, who was sitting in front of them, interfered.

"Oh", Sam said, her face turning red . She had never thought about Reg in any other way than friendship and according to her father, she was too young to date.

"Sure, I'll go with you", she quickly continued because by now more students were listening and she didn't want to embarrass her best friend in front of them. She knew how easily his ego got cracked and he would be in a horrible mood weeks after.

"That's great", Regulus answered, feeling like a stone had been lifted off his chest. The girl of his dreams seemed to like him also. What a happy day.

______

"I don't know actually. I do like the blue, but the green was cool as well", Regulus answered.

"Of course you liked the green hair", Samantha laughed. It had been a little awkward the last couple of minutes when they waited for their drinks, neither of them knowing what to say.

"Yes. So did you finish your homework already?"

"No, I still have to do potions", Sam answered, feeling like she just wanted to sink into the ground. This was the most awkward situation ever and she didn't know when she should tell him that she didn't want him as anything more than a friend. It would probably ruin their friendship.

"We could do it together, if you want."

"Yeah, that would be great."

"Oh my! This is the most awkward date that I have ever seen! You are still my brother, and look how dashing I am, how are you so bad with girls?", a cocky voice interrupted, and sure enough Sirius looked over the bank of the booth.

"What do you want, brother?", Regulus asked, clenching his teeth and looking at Sirius like he wanted to murder him. It was that look that scared Sam before and she recognized it again.

"Well I was just sitting here, minding my own business when I accidentally overheard your conversation. And because I am a nice person I thought I would give my little brother some tips on how to impress women", Sirius mocked and Regulus had to really get it together not to punch him in the face. He didn't want to loose his temper in front of this girl, didn't want to scare her away.

"Okay shut it, Black!", Samantha said, having enough of their argument. But Sirius didn't seem to hear her. He got up, ran his hand through his hair and sat back down next to her. Before she could even react, he just grabbed her chin, pulled it towards him and kissed her on the mouth. Without hesitating, she pulled back and slapped the Gryffindor in the face.

"What the hell are you thinking?", she squeaked, still in shock.

"That is how you do it, little brother. Just kiss the girl. I'm gonna leave now before you decide to slap me as well", Sirius said, getting up and winking at both of them. Regulus sat there with his mouth wide open, hate in his eyes, while Samantha just held a finger at her lips. This had been her very first kiss and Sirius Black stole it from her.

"I'm sorry but I need to go", she said, getting up and leaving with her winter jacket. When she opened the door, she could see that it had begun snowing. She had to find Sky to tell her what happened. Sirius was such a prick, how dared he to just kiss her. And she drew that stupid map for them, they should be thankful and not walking around ruining dates. Even though she was happy about ending it so soon.

"Hey, Sam! Wait up", a male voice shouted and Samantha turned around to see who it was. Her brother and Lily ran towards her, both seeming very happy in each others company.

"Hey you two. What are you up to?", Samantha asked, smiling at the sight of them together.

"Why shopping of course", Lily grinned, her eyes filled with joy. "Sev was the only one who wanted to come with me, Mar and Alice decided to stay in Hogwarts today."

"How nice of you, big brother. I am proud of you", Samantha said, patting him on the back.

"Well I feel like I am going to regret my decision", Severus joked and earned a disapproving look from the read head.

"Just kidding Lils. You make even shopping fun somehow."

"Well I hope you will have fun." Samantha was just about to turn around and walk away when Lily grabbed her arm gently.

"I can see that something is on your mind. You have that same expression that Sev always makes when the Marauders bullied him", Lily whispered, because it was only meant for Samantha's ears. Severus was so polite as to look away and study a sign next to the main road.

"Well it's just that.. Sirius just kissed me."

"What? And you wanted it?", Lily asked, but when she saw tears forming in the eyes of the girl, she quickly added: "Of course you didn't want it! What a dickhead. I am going to go and-"

"No, it's okay. It's very nice of you, Lily but you don't have to do anything. I'll handle him myself. Just please don't tell my brother, he would flip."

"If you say so. Just know that I am always there for you if you want to talk about anything. Even Regulus." Lily smiled at the confused expression of Samantha.

"I've seen the way he looks at you. He seems to really like you."

"But we are only thirteen! That is too young to even love someone", Samantha said, struggling with the word 'love'.

"The way I see it, he does really like you. Plus, I am only fourteen and I have a special feeling for someone as well. I think you should just see how it goes and if you fear that you could loose that special friendship, remember what you could gain. It's just puppy love, but maybe it will be the best thing that ever happened to you."

"Wow, I didn't know you were that wise", Samantha smiled, hugging the Gryffindor tight. "Thank you."

"No Problem. Maybe I should listen to my own advice."

"You should", Samantha said, her heart  beating faster. Was it Sev that she had 'a special feeling for'? She had to get these two together, they fit perfectly. Her light would shine through his darkness.
