"Sirius! Stop that!", James shouted and ran over to his best friend to stop him from giving alcohol to a baby.

"What? She wouldn't stop crying! And beer always calms me down", Sirius chuckled as James took little Jay from him.

"When I have children, I will never let you babysit!", he said, rocking his cousin in his arms. The baby girl laughed, holding James' thumb with her whole hand. He knew that he was only sixteen, but Jay just melted his heart with her cuteness, letting him know that he wanted kids once he was older.

"How are you alone with her anyways?"

"Her mother needed to use the bathroom and asked me, as a responsible young man, to watch over her", Sirius said, also enjoying Jay's bright blue eyes, filled with happiness.

"Man, this is totally going to sound like a chick-flick and you have to promise to never tell anyone I said this, but seeing her like that makes me want to have children as well. One day", he added, holding the naked baby feet in his hands.

"Does that mean you actually want to marry one day?", James teased his best friend.

"Well, sure. After we defeat Voldy and his little followers, first we celebrate your and Lily's wedding and then maybe someday I'll marry a decent girl as well. And then we'll go to the playground with our children and maybe secretly cry when they leave for Hogwarts."

"Wow. That was very romantic of you. Are you going to grow lady parts next?", James asked, not knowing how to respond to such an emotional confession from his friend.

"Shut your mouth, prongs. I say we get wasted and ruin your aunts birthday?", Sirius quickly replied, wiping the image of a bride with dark blue hair out of his brain.

James laughed, and grabbed a bottle of whiskey after carefully putting Jay into her crib. Sirius took two glasses and they quickly ran into an empty room before James' aunt came back.

"Oh, man. I am so glad I get to live at your place. Ditching my family was the best idea ever", Sirius said, filling both of their glasses.

"I'll cheers to that!", James said, raising his glass. "Bottoms up!"

"Thanks for the great meal, Mrs. Black", Samantha said, and followed Regulus and Sky up the stairs.

"Why don't we prank your brother?", Sky suggested with a mischievous smile on her face. She had her sleeves rolled up all day long these days, just to show off her new tattoo: The Dark Mark. Her brother finally let her join the Death Eaters and Mrs Black was just delighted about it. She kept making jokes about her marrying Regulus one day, which made Samantha's stomach turn every time. She still hadn't worked up the guts to ask him for another date much less telling him about her feelings for him.

"What do you suggest?", Regulus asked, putting an arm around the blonde girl. Samantha tried to play it cool and told herself that they were just friends. Just friends!

"Write some nice messages on his walls? Maybe the Dark Mark!", Sky said, her voice higher in excitement.

"His room is locked."

"Locked? Have you ever heard of Alohomora?", Sky interfered and quickly took out her wand.

"We are not allowed to do magic out of school", Samantha said quietly, but both Sky and Regulus gave her a weird look.

"And we don't care about the rules. Alohomora." The door opened and the three walked inside. The walls were full of naked women and some muggle posters that didn't move at all, showing some sort of sport. Also, the only colors in the room were red and golden.

"Wow. This room definitely needs some redecoration!", Sky said.

"Let's see if we can find a diary or something!"

"I just need to go to the bathroom real quick." Even though Samantha did not like this jerk, she really didn't want to go through his private stuff. She quickly walked out of the room, going to the nearest bathroom.

On her way back, she thought about the winter break they have had so far. The three of them had a great time at Grimmauld Place, and Regulus' family was nice as ever, as long as they did not talk about muggle born wizards.

"So I was thinking we could-", Samantha wanted to suggest when she opened the door, but what she saw inside the room made her heart stop for a second.

Silver and green confetti flew around everywhere and in the middle stood Regulus and Sky, underneath a mistel-toe and kissing each other. Samantha couldn't speak anymore as her heart was ripped out of her chest. She wanted to scream at her best friend, telling her that Reg was hers, but she realized she couldn't do it. It was her own fault.

Regulus and Sky stepped away from each other, Sky with a red face and Regulus as happy as a Niffler who just found a golden watch.

"Sorry, Sam. He just made this mistel-toe and it was so romantic and... I know you two dated before- "

"You can hardly call that a date", Regulus laughed, putting his arm around Sky. "Plus, Sam made it very clear that she doesn't like me. So it's no biggie, right?"

"No biggie at all. You could be together, I would actually be happy for you two!" Samantha cursed these words the moment they came out of her mouth, but it was too late now.

"Well, your mother would give us their blessing", Sky joked, and Regulus smirked: "So will you be my girlfriend, Skylar Flint?"

"It would be my pleasure!"

Samantha wasn't able to move. Did she just initiate those two getting together? This was the worst christmas ever! And she had only herself to blame. Don't cry, Samantha!, she told herself, faking a smile while Regulus and Sky hugged.

"Oh, but I don't want you to be a third wheel", Sky said after they let go of each other.

"No, it's fine."

"What if we just go on a double date? Do you know Evan Rosier? He is a really great guy! You two would totally be a great couple", Sky continued, getting really excited about that double date.

"Well, he is one of Sev's Death Eater friends so I don't think it is the best idea.." Samantha didn't want to disappoint her best friend, but she knew how horrible her brothers friends were.

"Don't worry, he is a really sweet guy! Come on! Don't be a party pooper."

"Fine. A double date when we are back at Hogwarts, nothing else!"

"Yay! It is going to be so much fun", Sky said, clapping her hands.

"Let's get back to ruining my brothers room", Regulus suggested and this time, Samantha did not leave the room, scared to run into them kissing again. She almost had to throw up just thinking about that image. She couldn't wait to get back to Hogwarts.
