When Samantha woke up the next morning, the first thing she felt was the sharp pain in her torso area. When she lifted her blanket, there was a lake of blood around her. She felt weak, maybe it would have been smarter to just go to the hospital wing, maybe she should go right now.
„What the hell is going on Sam? How is there so much-„
„Shhhh! Please be quiet!", Samantha hushed and quickly threw the blanket over the wound again.
„Don't tell me that is from your period because that is just rubbish. I woke up in the middle of the night and you weren't there. Please explain. Oh, in the hospital wing because there is no way I will leave you here to bleed out. Didn't you pay any attention in DADA? I have spell that might help."
Sky lifted the blanket again to see the wound, making sure that none of the other girls would notice. Then she mumbled something and water poured out of her wand.
„Agh, that hurts! What are you doing that for?", Samantha said through her teeth, trying not to scream while her friend cleaned the wound.
„Madame Pompfrey would definitely have something stronger, but you have to clean the would to prevent an infection. Then she would probably heal you in no time but I can't do that", Sky explained while she mumbled another spell, which caused bandage to appear.
„Put pressure on the wound, and eat something. You must have lost a lot of blood."
„I never knew you were such a good nurse", Samantha joked, but when she saw Sky' straight face, she stopped smiling.
„This is serious, okay Sam? I worry about you, why would you sneak out in the middle of the night?", Sky asked but Samantha quickly changed the subject: „Thank you for wrapping me up, but can we go to the hospital wing now?"
"You will talk, Samantha Snape."
The way to the hospital wing was painful in every way. Every move hurt, because she had bruises all over her body from the fight and she couldn't even walk properly without the help of Sky. Many students gave them weird looks as they walked by and some Gryffindors or Ravenclaws commented on the scenario.
„Just shut it and leave us alone! Bloody hell, and they say we are the bullies", Samantha shouted at the next person who overtook them and probably wanted to say something like ‚Oh, did that match yesterday drain all your power? It was probably drugs or a spell that wore off and you couldn't read the side-effects'
„Merlin, you are in a bad mood. I just wanted to ask what happened to you", no other than Aaron Brown asked. Samantha instantly felt bad for screaming at him, but Sky somehow found it quite amusing.
„Oh, so now you are spying on lovely Sam here? I guess you are the one with the crush."
„Stop it, Sky!", Samantha whispered, super embarrassed for her friend. But Aaron knew how to take a joke and smirked.
„You caught me, Skylar. I am in love with the girl who scored a goal on me. I can help you two get to the hospital wing before tomorrow if you want", he offered and before Samantha could decline him, Sky nodded her head: „Yes, please. Sammy, I love you but you are quite heavy."
„Hey!" Samantha protested, but she seemed to have no say in the matter and just got lifted into the air by the Ravenclaw boy. With her in his arms and Sky walking next to them, the walked to the hospital wing and Aaron was right, this was was much faster.
„Oh my, what happened to you, sweetheart?", Madame Pompfrey asked with worry in her voice when she saw the wound. „I can fix this, but you lost a lot of blood. Who did this to you?", she asked and both Aaron as well as Sky looked at her, wanting to know the same thing.
„I wanted to train a little more for Quidditch after the game when I fell onto a rock. I was too embarrassed to go to the hospital wing because I knew people would mock me so I went to bed. I thought maybe it wasn't that bad."
„It is bad, honey. Another hour and you would have died because of the bloodloss, not to mention the rupture in your liver. There was an angel watching over you last night so don't EVER do this again, do you hear me?", Madame Pompfrey growled, scaring Samantha a little since she had never seen that kind hearted lady so furious.
„I-I promise", she said and suddenly, the nurse smiled again: „Good girl. Now take your medications."

Samantha coudn't sleep that night, mostly because of the horrible pain in her side. Also, the thoughts about Remus, Sky, Regulus and Aaron kept her awake. She didn't know what to do or who to trust. Sky and Regulus were her best friends, but she had been told to tell her secret to anyone, and that would include those two as well.
Then she thought about Aaron. He did clearly like her, but since she found out that he wasn't the werewolf, it made him less interesting. She knew that it sounded cruel, but all the butterflies were gone when he carried her to the hospital wing.
It was probably the thought of someone being able to shift into an animal as well. She had knew now that sharing her experience of being an animal is what she wanted most. And thus, she made the decision to trust Remus. She could help him and she could be sure that he didn't tell anyone since he probably didn't want her to spill his secret either.
With a good feeling in her belly, she finally fell asleep.
"Oh no, is this all because of me? Are you the wolf that helped me at the full moon? If so, I am in your dept because I never walked out of a full moon this unharmed. Please wake up, Samantha. You look so pale.."
"I still look better than you", the girl said, sassy as Remus had gotten to know her. Just because he was so happy that she was okay, he hugged her. Surprised, she hugged him back, not being able to deny that it felt very nice. Neither her mother, nor her brother were much of huggers, and her fathers hug was always so protective. This hug on the other hand felt like the beginning of a friendship.
"It was me. The wolf, I mean", Samantha confessed after Remus sat on her bed. His eyes widened and she could see how a million questions formed in his head.
"I am a metamorphmagi", she explained and Remus' jar dropped: "Really? That is so amazing! I am so thankful, Samantha. You don't know how much it meant to me. To have someone there with me."
"No problem. I was glad help", Samantha smiled, but just when Remus wanted to say something, three very loud boys busted into the room. The rest of the Marauders, of course. Remus rolled his eyes: "I am so sorry for them. They can be too energetic sometimes but they do have good hearts."
"What are you doing Remi? Bonding with the enemy?", Sirius asked.
"I was just having a nice conversation with another human being, you should try that sometimes and you will find that many people that you have labeled as 'evil' might surprise you.", Remus explained and Samantha was more than happy about his words. He was actually right, not every Slytherin just wanted to kill mudbloods. Plus, he didn't sell her out to his friends, which she gave him a smile for.
"Ew, what is wrong with you, Lupin? She is the sister of Snivellus", James complained and held his nose.
"Don't call my brother that", I said, angry at both James and Sirius for being such buttheads.
"Oh Manthy, it's just our nickname for him because we are the bestest of friends", Sirius joked, making James and Peter laugh.
"Just leave me alone, all of you", Samantha suggested with a grumpy voice, gently pushing Remus off her bed. He gave her a puppy look and sighted, but walked towards his bed anyways, the rest of the boys following him, not without looking into my direction and making fun of my grumpy face.
