"So you are telling me that you never properly practiced Quidditch?", Sky asked as they walked towards the Quidditch-Pitch right after breakfast on a Sunday morning. They would have the Quidditch pitch for about 2 hours before the team showed up for training.
"Of course not, I live in a city full of muggles where would I fly? Plus, I can't even afford a broom!"
"Well, be glad you found me then. I have two brooms now,  snatched one from the school supply", Sky said,  throwing one of the old schoolbrooms to her new friend.
"Nice! How did you get this?", Samantha asked.

"I have friends in upper years. I helped out one and now he got me a broom."

"Wow! How did you make friends in upper years so fast?"

"Well, I am pretty smart and good at finding out secrets. The rest is not important", Sky explained, not really answering the question at all. But Samantha didn't really care, she just wanted to fly again, feeling the wind in her hair and the freedom that it brought.

When the were both in the air, Sky threw the ball at her and she almost fell of her broom trying to catch it.Sky laughed: "You'll get the hang of it."

The girls trained hard and by the time they were done, Samantha was able to easily catch and throw the ball back to Sky. She was very proud of herself, but her abilities were nothing compared to Sky's, who flew like she was born on a broom.

They walked back, both of them laughing and talking about how they would be amazing in the Quidditch team.

"You would defenetly impress Aaron", Sky said and smiled at her friend, who quickly blushed.

"If wanted to impress him, yes. But I don't, so please leave it be?"

"Fine. It's just nice to mock you with it", Sky giggled and friendly bumped into Samantha.

"Hey you two", a familiar voice greeted them when they entered the Slytherin common room.

"Reg, hey", Samantha smiled and wanted to hug her friend, but he seemed upset and backed off.

"I didn't see you at breakfast. And is that one of the school brooms?"

"Well we were just playing some Quidditch. What is your problem?", Samantha asked, while Sky slowly backed off. This was something these two had to figure out and she knew that she would only make it worse.

"I never see you anymore. When I told you to get a girl friend, I didn't mean you should dump me for her!"

"What? This is what this is about?"

"Yes. I thought we were best friends and nothing could ever change that", Regulus said very quietly, quoting a vow that they had made just after the christmas break.

"But we are! Just because I found another friend doesn't mean I will leave you! How about we spend the whole day together?", Sam suggested, feeling flattered how strongly Regulus felt about her.

His face instantly lit up: " That sounds like a great plan. The weather is great, why don't we sit by the lake?"
