Chapter 19

Misty sat in the passenger side of the truck and stared up at the window to her old room. As excited as she was, she was sad to leave her old home and the room she and Meliza had shared for as long as she could remember. Meliza waved until she couldn’t see the truck anymore then turned to Niall, wrapping her arms around his neck. He smiled at her. “Hello there beautiful.” She blushed, giggling. “Well hello there stranger” “We now have a house to ourselves.” Meliza grinned “What to do, what to do...” “I have an idea,” Niall said, kissing her gently. She kissed back softly, then pulled away “What would that be?” “Movie day?” Niall suggested. Meliza beamed “Alright!” Niall lifted her up and carried her to the couch, before putting in a movie. Meliza waited for him to sit down before she lied down, putting her head in Niall’s lap. Niall grinned at her, and she took his hand. He smiled and squeezed her hand. She smiled and he stared playing with her hair.

Misty stared out the window of the U-Haul, deep in thought and being strangely quiet. Liam parked in their driveway and bit his lip “Honey are you okay? “I’m alright, don’t worry.” Liam kissed her cheek, hugging her. Misty hugged him back, before getting out of the truck and going inside, sitting on the floor in the living room. Liam brought all the boxes inside and pulled her into his lap. She leaned into him, smiling slightly. Liam nuzzled her neck softly. “Yeah?” Misty asked, looking at him. “You didn’t let me carry you over the threshold” he pouted. “You can carry me if you want to Liam.” Liam grinned and picked her up. She squealed slightly, not expecting it. He laughed and carried her outside then right back in.

“Well that was pointless,” Misty pointed out, hiding her face in his shirt. “Was not” he mumbled. Misty smiled and held onto him. “If you say so Li.” Liam kissed her softly, smiling. She kissed back staring up at him for a moment before turning red. “Why the blush darling?” he smiled. “Oh, no reason.” Misty smiled a little, hiding her face in his shirt. Liam set her on the couch and started to unpack. She watched him and hummed to herself. He got the boxes unpacked within a few hours. Misty snuck up on his when he was unpacking the last box and jumped on his back. Liam laughed, and she kissed his cheek “Hey there handsome.”

“Well hello there beautiful” he smiled. “Why so serious?” “I’m not Sirius, I’m Liam” Misty beamed and kissed his cheek. “You got the reference.” “Ob.....viously” he smirked. “Dork. I’m not getting off your back.” Liam laughed. “I’m not, and you can’t make me,” Misty says grinning. “I’m not gonna try baby” She kissed his cheek again and said. “What’s your favorite part of being awesome?” “Having you love me” he grinned. She turned bright pink and hid her face in his shoulder. Liam laughed, and Misty bit her lip. “What?” “I love when you blush” he shrugged

“Why?” “Cause it makes me feel like I did something right.” he shrugged. “You’ve done everything right,” Misty whispered and kissed his cheek, still on his back. Liam smiled softly. She smiled, resting her head on his back and saying softly “Thank you.” “For what?” “Rescuing me,” Misty mumbled, getting down and standing in front of him hugging Liam tightly. Liam hugged her back just as tight and kissed her hair. She hid her face in his shirt and mumbled. “You’ve made me feel safe… thank you Liam” He smiled “No Misty, thank you. For making me realize what I was missing.” She blushed and kept her face hidden, listening to his heartbeat. “I don’t really see how I did that,” she whispered. “But you did” he smiled. “Okay.” He kissed her gently, smiling.

Niall was still holding Meliza close as the day passed, around dinnertime, Niall glanced at her. “I wonder how Li and Mist are doing.” Meliza giggled “I’m sure they’re fine” she shrugged, snuggling closer to him as her stomach grumbled. “Time to eat?” “Pweaseeeee?” she giggled. “Of course! Pizza night?” Meliza beamed and kissed him deeply. “I’ll take that as a yes” “Hey you’re supposed to kiss your fiance back” she pouted. He kissed her and laughed. She smiled “better” “Good.” She kissed him again. He kissed back and grinned. “I have to get the pizza ordered.” Meliza pouted “Fineeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee” Niall laughed and kissed her before calling to order pizza. During the call, Meliza hopped on his back and started to kiss his neck. Niall smirked, finishing up the call.
