Chapter 5 ~ It's No Ones Fault

Natsu's P.O.V.

A light breeze passed by us. Her hair started flowing like the wind. In the background, I can hear the sounds of the branches hitting the other branches and the some of the petals falling off the tree. She smiled at me and said to me, " Long time no see...Natsu... " 

" ...How do you know my name...? " I asked, confused. 

" I always see you around school. Usually I caught you looking at me and one time, in gym, I over heard someone call your name. Your last name is Dragneel, right? " 

" A-Ah, yes. " 

" I see... "

" Can I ask you something? " I asked. 

" Sure. What is it? "

" Why did you risk your life to save my sister? Why did you save her? " 

It took a while for her to reply. " ...Oh... I saved her because I knew that, if she got badly hurt, you would have to take responsibility for it and who knows what your parents will do to you if that happens. I don't want that to happen to you... " 

" Why do you care if I get yelled at by my parents? I'm not worth it. I don't deserve to be happy... Why would you care about someone like me? I'm the dumbest person in my class! " 

" Another, reason why I saved her was because...she reminded me...of...my sister... " 

" Your sister? What happened to your sister? " 

" Maybe I should tell you about it another time... " She replied, in a sad tone.

Then a girl with short pink and blue eyes walked over to where me and Lucy were. " Oh, good! Your still here! " She said, then she looked at me with confusion.  " Lucy, who's this boy? Is he a friend of yours? " She asked. 

" I suppose so. Virgo, this is Natsu. Natsu this is Virgo, she's my baby sister. Well, not really. She's more of an...aunt to me who cares for me. " 

" Hello. " I said. 

" Hi. Lucy, let's go back inside. I think you got enough fresh air. " 

" Oh, okay. Natsu, wanna come with us. I'll explain everything. " Lucy said to me. 

" Go where exactly and what do you mean 'I'll explain everything'?  " I asked.  

" My hospital room. And when I said that I'll explain everything, I meant that I will tell you what happened to me from the accident. Alright? " She explained. I stood there frozen. Should I go? What should I do? I mean, I do wanna find out what happened to her and why she's in a wheel chair now... 

" I'll go with you. " I replied. 

She smiled at me and said, " Okay then. " 

We arrived at her hospital room. She's still in the hospital? Why? Virgo carried Lucy off the wheel chair and on to the bed. " Have a sit. Don't be scared. " Virgo said to me. 

" Oh, okay. " I replied, as I sat in the chair next to the hospital bed. 

" So...what happened to you...? " I asked. 

" You see...I can no longer walk and when I get older, I won't be able to have a child either. " My eyes widen. T-That's why she's in a...wheel chair...?! 

" But, don't worry. I'll be fine. Although, I don't think that I'll ever go back to school... " She added. 

" Why not? "
