Chapter 6 ~ I'm Sorry

~Lucy's P.O.V - 2 Months and a few weeks ago~

I opened my eyes and I found myself looking at the ceiling. Where am I? I stood up and I realized that I am in a hospital room. Why am I here? What's going on? I looked around the room and I was all by myself and the door was open. I got off the bed and I fell on to the floor. Huh? That's weird. I tried to get up but I couldn't feel my legs. " Huh? W-W-What's going on? H-Huh? " I asked, aloud. I tried to hang on to something but no matter what, I couldn't feel/move my legs. Then I started crying. " W-Why can't I get up? W-W-WHY?! *Sob, Sob* " Then I started crying for help. Then a doctor and a few nurses came to my room and they ran over to me.

 " Lucy, just stay calm. Everything will be alright. " One of them said.

" *Sob* How am I supposed to stay calm *Sniff* when I can't even get up?! *Sob, Sob* How am I supposed to stay calm?! *Sob* HOW?! *Sob, Sob* "

 They carried me back into the hospital bed and I was still panicking. How am I supposed to stay calm when I don't know what's going on?  " Listen, Lucy. Just relax, okay? Everything will be fine if you just stay calm. Okay? Lucy? " I over heard someone yell. This is weird... Why is everything getting blurry and why do I feel so sleepy...? Then everything became pitch black.

~Lucy's Dream~

I opened my eyes and I found myself lying down in the shade of a tree. All I saw was the sun peeking through the leafs and branches of the tree. I stood up and I saw my little sister sitting outside in the sun playing with her dolls. I'm confused right now. What's going? Was I dreaming that I was in the hospital and I couldn't feel my legs? I stood up and I walked over to my sister. I said to her, " Michelle, what are you doing playing out in sun? Your gonna get sun burn! Come on, let's go play in the shade. It's much cooler there. " She didn't look at me and she didn't say a word. 

" Michelle...? " I asked. She slowly turned her head toward me and she was crying. 

" Why did you leave me?! *Sob, Sob* You promised me that we would be together forever! Now...it's time for you to feel all the pain that I had living with dad! " She turned evil and she started to laugh evilly. I got so scared. What should I do? Then everything turned dark. I started walking backwards and I tripped over a stone and I fell. Then the ground collapsed and I fell. It felt like falling into a tunnel where it would never end. I tried calling for help put it was no use. Am I gonna die? I don't want to... Someone...if you could hear my voice than save...me... Then all of a sudden a knife came falling down. What?! Then - 

~End of Dream - Still 2 months and a few weeks ago~

I opened my eyes and I found myself in the hospital. I stood up. I'm still scared. What happened? So...I really saved a girl who was about to be hit by a car and I can't feel my legs. I felt like I was out of breath. My heart was beating so fast. I looked at my hands and they were shaking. So...I can no longer walk...? W-What is going on? What did that dream mean? Voices started talking in my head and I couldn't take it anymore. 

" AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!! " 

" Lu~chan, are you okay? " I looked at the door, it was Levy. She rushed over to me. " Oh, good. Your awake. Are you okay? What happened? Are you in pain? " She asked me. I feel more calm now that Levy is here. 

" No, no. I'm fine Levy. I just...had a nightmare that's all. " 

" Oh... "

" Hello Lucy. How are you feeling? " Then a doctor walked into my room. She had pink hair. 

" Yeah, I'm fine. Can you explain to me what happened to me? " 

" Well, first of all...you can't feel you legs right? " I nodded. 

" ...We ran some tests and seems like when you get older you won't be able to have a child and you can't feel your legs. So from now on, your going to be in a wheel chair? Will you be okay with that? I hope you can understand. We are not sure if you will be in a wheel chair your whole life but you have to stay here in the hospital for now. " She explained. My eyes widen when a nurse walked into the room and next to her was a wheel chair. I stared at the wheel chair. Am I gonna be in the that wheel chair for my whole life? Them my mom walked into the room. She smiled at me. " Everything will be alright...okay? " She said to me. I nodded. 

My mother carried me on to the wheel chair. " How is it? Is it alright? " My mom asked me. I nodded. I didn't feel like saying a word to anyone anymore. I felt like keeping my mouth shut...forever... But I know that....it wouldn't change anything. I only talked to my mom and Levy.

~The next day - Still 2 months and a few weeks ago~

I was talking to my mom in my hospital room. " Have you heard any news about Michelle? " I asked. 

" No... Everywhere I go, I always try to find her. But anyways, let's hope and pray that she is safe. Alright? " 

" Okay. Do you think that...she's dead...? " 

" Don't think or say that. We'll see her again one day. I have this feeling inside me telling me that we will see her again one day. " 

" I wonder if shes okay. With dad... "
