Seventeen (KPOP) ONE SHOT

(Mingyu) part 2.

I ran out of the class and the teacher stopped me.

"Where are you going? The bell is going to ring in a minute" the teacher said.

"I don't feel really well" I said.

"Really? Okay, tell me your name so I can take the attendance" she said.

I told her my name and she realized I was the new student.

"Okay~ go to the nurse office." She said and I bow at her and go.

"That freak" I mumble and walked in the nurse office.

I sat down and took out my phone again. A nurse came in.

"Oh~ is there something wrong?" She ask. I put away my phone and look up at her.

"Um...my head hurts a little" I said.

"Ok...I'll let you take a medicine and you can rest a bit" she said and hand me the medicine.

"Thank you" I said and she smiled and do her work.

Someone comes in knocking the door.

"Come in" the nurse said.

"Hi~ Miss pretty nurse" Mingyu greet the nurse. I look up at him then look away.

"Mingyu, you're here again? always skipping the first block" she said and he sat next to me.

I stood up and sit on another chair. My head was hung low so I don't have to see his face.

The nurse was talking to him while I sat there for a few minutes.

"I think I'm okay now. Thank you for the medicine" I said and bow to her.

"Oh, okay. Uh have a nice day" she said and I thank her.

"Mingyu, you're going too?" I heard the nurse ask.

"Yes! I feel like going to first block today" he said to her. I heard his footsteps behind me. Second later he was beside me.

"Are you mad at me?" He ask looking at my face.

I didn't reply him and keep walking.

"Why are you mad anyway?" He ask but I stayed silent.

I walk in the class and the teacher gesture me to go to her desk.

"Wow Mingyu, I can't believe you made it to class today" she said to him.

"It's not surprising, is it?" He ask her with NO manners.

"Y/N, the principal told me to give you this letter" the teacher said and hand it to me.

"Thank you" I said.

We had an exam the other week and the results are on the hallway.

"Omo! Who is this person? She beats Mingyu the smartest in this school" I heard someone say.

"Do you think she'll be in trouble?" Another ask.

I went to look at the results. I rank the first. I'm not surprised.

"Y/N-ah~ congrats girl~" Eunha said hugging me.

"Omo~ how can this be? You rank the first in America and now the first in Korea~ good job Y/N-ah~" Joshua said and we high-fived.

"Hahaha. Yah! You ranked second place" Jeonghan laughed at Mingyu.

"Who the hell rank first?" Mingyu said and look at the results. He looks at me and I look at him blankly and walk away.

I haven't talked to him since that day.

"Yah! Stop right there" I heard Mingyu command. I kept walking but my two friends stopped.

"Yah, didn't you hear me?" He ask while standing in my way.

"Go away" I said but he was smirking.

"Seeing you dumb like this...you're actually not that dumb" he said.

"I guess you're dumber than me" I snapped at him.

"What the heck is wrong with you?! I've tried to be nice to you since...that day but you keep acting like this" he seems angry just like the first day I saw him.

Eunha and Joshua comes by me.

"Are you okay?" Joshua ask.

"Do you want to know what my problem is?" I ask stepping forward.

"My problem is that I don't want to see your face! Someone who acts almighty to everyone! You hate my attitude...I also hate yours" I shout and walk away bumping his shoulder.

I walk down to the stairs and cried. My back against the wall and I roll up into a ball and cried harder.

"Why does my life have to be like this?!" I shout out. It's good that nobody uses the stairs.

I heard footsteps coming down the stairs. I felt someone patting my hair. I look up. I immediately stood up and push him away.

"Go away!" I shout and hit his chest.

"Yah, calm down" he said softly and hugged me.

"Let go!" I shout while struggling.

"I won't let go until you calm yourself down" he said.

I keep crying until there's no more tears. I went quite and he moved away from me.

"I'm sorry if I made you uncomfortable. I swear I didn't mean it" he said wiping my tears. I look straight into his eyes. They were sincere.

"That's all I wanted to hear" I said and smack his hands away from my cheek.

"What?" He ask confused.

"Everytime you come up to me, you have to bring a story up but you never say sorry....I wasn't going to be mad at you but..." I trailed off.

"But what?" He ask again.

"But you...made me feel really angry and I was really mad awhile ago" I said embarrassed.

He walked  forward until my back hit the wall once again.

"I'm glad you're not mad at me anymore~" he said lowering his head.

"Go away, you're making me feel uncomfortable" I said and push him slightly.

"Waaa~ you're actually blushing" he said pinching my cheeks.

"No I'm not" I said looking away and push through him.

"You're cute, I want to learn more about you...is that okay?" He ask.

I didn't know why I was smiling.

"If you want...but I will always be number one on the results" I said not looking at him.

"You can also be number one in my heart" he said which makes the butterfly in my stomach explodes.
