Chapter 17

LOTS OF POV CHANGES
Elizabeth's POV

"Johnnie!!!!" I scream. "Elizabeth honey what is it?" He says running into the room. "Iti and Hayes something happened, it's not good, I think they wrecked." I say. "Ok how far were they?" He asks. "Iti said 15 mins" I say. "I'll get Chad and we will go look. I will call you if we find them." Johnnie says. I nod. Tears building up in my eyes. He pulls me in a hug, "it'll be ok." He says. "Go find sky and sit with her" he says. I nod "be careful please" I say. "Always." He says. I leave the kitchen and go upstairs to find skylynn.

Chads POV

Me and Nila are sitting and watching some tv, Molly is upstairs in her room. When Johnnie comes in. "Hayes and Infiniti were in a crash, Elizabeth was on the phone with them. They were about 15 mins out and we need to go look." He says in one breath. My breath gets caught in my chest. Nila gasps, "I'll call and see if they've gotten anything at the hospital." She says. We nod, I kiss her cheek put my shoes on and go with Johnnie.
We get in the car and start driving. We get about 12 minutes away from the house, when the rain lightens up. I see the jeep. "Johnnie, there" I say pointing. "Oh God" he says. My thoughts exactly, there is glass everywhere, the jeep is in horrible condition and I can only imagine what their bodies look like. I dial 911.

*phone convo*

C: yes my son and his friend were in an accident, it's serious.

O: I need the address please.

C: it's in the direct middle of south 12th street.

O: thank you sir there will be an ambulance there shortly.

*end of phone convo*

Johnnie and I both get out of the truck. We go over to the car. Looking at the blood on the ground, someone's seriously injured. The jeep is on its side. I hear the sirens. I bend down to the ground careful of the glass, they're both in horrible condition. Not even having words. The ambulance pulls up, they all quickly rush over. We step back as they get them from the car. "They both have a pulse but very week and one is non responsive." The emt says. My breath hitches. "Which one?" Johnnie asks. "The girl." He says. God fin. "What's they're names?" He asks. "The girl is Infiniti Jordan and the boy is Hayes Grier." I answer. "Thank you sir, but we need to be getting them to the hospital." He says I nod. We go back to the truck hopping in. I dial nila

*phone convo*

C: we found them, it was really bad. They are taking them to the hospital. Get the car, take Molly and go get Elizabeth and skylynn and meet us there please.

N: oh honey, of course! Please be careful

C: you too darlin, love you.

N: love you too

We soon arrive at the hospital and run inside. "My son and a girl were just brought in, where are they?!?" I ask the lady at the desk. "What's the name?" She asks. "Hayes Grier and Infiniti Jordan" I say. "The girl is in icu, you can't see her right now, but your son is in room 426" she says. I nod and thank her we run up the stairs and to Hayes' room. We rush inside, Hayes is laying in the bed. "Dad where is she?" He asks panicking, his voice cracking. "Hayes, bud." Johnnie says. Hayes tries to get up. "Hayes no, stay in the bed." I say. "Then tell me where the hell she is" he says panicking even more. "She's in ICU." I say. Tears well up in his eyes. "It's my fault dad it's all my fault." He says. Elizabeth, Nila, Molly and Sky come rushing in. Molly runs to Hayes' side. He sits there hugging her. She cries into his chest. "Bub she's non responsive." Molly cries into his chest, causing him to cry. She pulls back. "Hayes I'm so glad your ok, where is Iti?" Sky asks.
"Honey, she's really bad injured. They have to keep her in a special place." Nila says. "But I wanna see her!" Sky whines. "Sky, we all do baby girl" Molly says. "I'm gonna text will and Nash and let them know what's going on." Johnnie says. "Does anyone have Kieran's number?" Nila asks. "I did but I have no idea what happened to my phone" Hayes groans out. "It's ok I have it." Molly says, patting his shoulder. "I'll text him" she says.

Nash's POV

We are on set when my phone starts going off. I look at it. It's a text from Johnnie, something must really be wrong. "I'm sorry, I have to check this." I say, Kieran and Cam look really worried. I open it, damn we gotta go. I glance over at Kieran he's on his phone, his face looks shocked. He must've gotten a text too. "Umm we have to leave, I'm sorry, my brother and his sister were in a serious car accident." I say. "Oh dear, go! Be careful" the set manager says. We nod and I grab Kieran and pull him out, cam following behind. We hop in the car. I toss cam my phone. "Call the airport and book flights to Nc" I say starting the car and driving. He nods. "She's non responsive man, Idk what to do." Kieran says. "She's a tough little thing man. She'll push through" I say patting his back.

Wills POV
Im sitting and watching tv with my beautiful fiancé. When I get a text from Johnnie. I open it and gasp. "Babe what's wrong?" Jean asks. "Hayes and Infiniti were in a wreck." I say. "Oh God,Are they ok?!" She asks "Hayes is fine, Infiniti is non responsive." I answer. "Do you wanna go back to NC? To see them?" She asks. "Babe your pregnant we don't need to get on a plane right now." I say. "Babe that doesn't matter. We need to go check on them. I'll start packing bags you go online and get tickets for the next flight to NC" she says standing up. "How did I get so lucky?" I asks. "The same way I did." She says pecking my lips and disappearing. God please let them be ok.

Molly's POV

My bestfriend is basically dying and I can't even see her. I don't know what to do. I'm currently cuddled up to my brother. He fell asleep, he looks like hell. I can only imagine what she looks like. Everyone is in the hall, most likely pacing back and forth. I know she's tough, she can do anything she puts her mind to. But I'm worried about her. I'm scared if she doesn't make it, Hayes is gonna blame himself. What the hell am I saying. Of course she's going to be ok. She's friggin Infiniti Jordan, badass that makes up her own rules. "Molls whatcha thinkin so hard about?" Hayes asks his voice breaking. "Don't even answer, I've been thinking about it to. It's my fault. I should've never taken her out. we should've stayed at the house." Hayes says running his hand through his hair. "Bub she's going to be ok. She can do anything I swear" I say. "I know, but she's gonna hate me. Especially if it means she has to take a season off from everything." Hayes says. "Well luckily, football season doesn't actually start till September and cheer doesn't start till November. Everything will be fine bub." I say. The door opens and in walks everyone and the doctor. "Well good news, you don't have any major injuries other than the broken ribs." The doctor says. "What about Infiniti?" Hayes asks. "As of now we haven't found any internal bleeding. Her pulse is stronger and I think she'll wake up soon. I will allow a few of you at a time to go see her." The doctor says. "Dr sir, um ik I have to stay here in the hospital but is there any way I could not wear a hospital gown? And like wear some shorts and a shirt?" Hayes asks. The doctor laughs. "I was about to tell you. If you'd like you can change." The doctor says. "Thank you sir" Hayes says. "And if your girlfriend keeps making progress we will move her into this room." The doctor says. The whole room just looks at Hayes waiting for his response. "Umm sir, we aren't dating. She's not my girlfriend. She's just a really close friend." Hayes says. "Oh I'm sorry I just assumed" the doctor says. "Don't worry about it. They might as well be dating. The basically are" I answer for Hayes. The doctor nods smiling. "well her room is on this floor in the icu" the doctor says. "Thank you!" We all say. He nods and walks out. I hop off of the bed. I grab the shorts and shirt from my bag. I hand it to Hayes. "I figured you wouldn't last long in that thing" I say chuckling. "Thank God molls your a life saver." Hayes says smiling. "no offense but I need y'all to get out so I can change please." Hayes says. "Oh no problem. I'm leaving right now" I say grabbing my bag and walking out. I get out there and see that literally the entire football and cheer teams are out there and then all of their friends. Jarrett walks over to me. I pull him into a hug. "How's Hayes?" He asks. "He's fine, he's changing." I say. "They're letting him leave?" He asks. "Oh no, but he won't stay in that hospital gown." I say chuckling. "The doctors gonna let us see Iti" I say. "That's great!" Jarrett says. "She's still non responsive. And we can only go a few at a time." I say. J comes rushing in. "Where's Infiniti?" He asks running to me. "She's in icu, they're gonna let us see her. You wanna come?" I ask. "Please" he says. Hayes comes walking out with his wires. He looks like a wreck. "You ready?" I ask the boys. They nod and we go to the icu rooms. We get to her room. I grab the door and open it to see....
