Chapter 20

Iti's POV

So I've been out of the hospital for about 2 weeks. Today I go back for a check up to hopefully get cleared. I've been stuck just watching practices, because I haven't been clear to go back to physical activities. Jean had her baby, she's absolutely precious. I've never seen Hayes so excited about something. He would barely leave Ellie's side for the first like week. It was the cutest sight ever. Speaking of the devil, I hear my bedroom door creak open as I lay in bed. "Hayes I already know it's you, you might as well just climb in the bed already." I say. He groans and plops down next to me. "I was so quiet this time tho" he whines. I giggle. "Honey you're the only one that comes into my room at this hour in the morning, and the door creaked." I say chuckling. He sighs. I glance at my phone and groan it's 5:30am. "It's 5:30am I don't have to go to school today and my doctors appointment isn't till 2:45. Why did you wake me up." I pout. "I came to share the news." He says. I can hear his grin in his voice as he sits next to me playing with my hair. "And what news would that be?" I ask. "Well I got up to get ready for school, but I went downstairs to see my parents and I convinced them to let me stay home and take you to the doctor" he says grinning. I smile. "That's great news dear but next time you don't have to wake me up for that." I say. He smiles sheepishly. He pulls his shirt over his head and sliding his shoes off. He drops his phone and keys on the night stand. He slides under the blankets, and pulls me into his bare chest. Which has become an extremely normal position for me. He kisses the top of my head, and rubs circles in my back. I don't even freak about the fact I'm only in his big tshirt, VS bra and cheeksters. I just snuggle into him. Indulging myself in his scent and slowly drifting back to sleep.
*timeskip to a couple hours later*
I wake up to a lack of warmth and an empty bed that wasn't like this when I fell asleep. I open my eyes to see that Hayes isn't there anymore. I glance at the nightstand and notice that his phone is gone too. I grab my phone to see a text from him. I unlock my phone and open it. "Good morning babe, I went to the store cause I wanted to get some movies and ice cream. I gave Jeffery the day off, because I'm going to cook. Take a shower or bath and just relax. Don't you dare put any makeup on. I'll be downstairs cooking by the time you're done. I love you gorgeous xxxx"
I instantly smile. Not bothering to reply. I screenshot the text. I'll post it later. It's 9:30 so I hop out of the bed and go to the bathroom. I turn on the Bluetooth speaker and play my music. I strip down, seeing that my bruises are basically invisible now. I smile and hop in the shower. I shave and wash my body and hair. After I finish my shower I hop out of the shower. I dry off and wrap up in my silk robe. I'll probably take a bath later. I walk out back into my bedroom. I go to my closet and open my lingerie/undergarments drawer. I see my black lace set sitting on top. I grab it and go to my drawer that basically a big pile of hayes' clothes. I decide to mess with him and grab a big t-shirt that's says "Shawn Mendes is my boyfriend." I take off my robe and slide on my undergarments and pull the t-shirt over my head. I go over to my vanity and look in the mirror. I get a makeup wipe out and get the black out from under my eyes. I put on some chap stick to keep my lips moisturized and soft. I look in the mirror and just let my wet hair dry into whatever it decides to do. I grab some fuzzy socks and slide them on. I grab my phone and go downstairs. I hear music playing and I smell bacon and pancakes and eggs. What is this boy trying to do make me fat? I chuckle and continue down the stairs. I walk into the kitchen and see him dancing around while he cooks. He looks like a god. His sweatpants resting low on his hips and shirtless. His back muscles defined. I walk over to him where he's moving his hips. I wrap my arms around his waist and put my face to his bare back. He turns himself around kisses my head. "Hey princess" he smiles looking down at me. I smile up at him. "Breakfast is almost done beautiful" hayes says. "You didn't have to do all this" I say. "I wanted to" he says giving that smile that could cure cancer. I get on my tiptoes and kiss his cheek. I let go of him and walk to the fridge and cabinet. I open the fridge and get out the orange juice. I open the cabinet to get the glasses out. I can't reach so I get on my tiptoes. "Damnnn" hayes says. I giggle grabbing the glasses. I place them on the counter. I pour the juice in the glasses. Hayes reaches over me and grabs the plates. He pecks my temple. He walks back over and starts putting the food on the plates I grab the forks. I place them on the table and go back and grab the glasses and place them on the table too. Hayes hasn't noticed my shirt yet, hehe. Hayes comes and sets the plates down. I smile at him. "What the hell do you think you're wearing?" He says finally looking at my shirt. "Umm a shirt duh" I say playing dumb. "Shawn is not your boyfriend" he says pissed. "Oh then who is?" I ask smirking and biting my lip. He groans "don't do that, or you won't be the only one biting on that lip" hayes says. His voice husky. I quickly let go of my lip. His voice sounds so possessive. It was kind of scary but it was hot. I smile at him and all of whatever was going on in him just goes away and that gorgeous smile of his returns. I get on my tiptoes and kiss his nose. I sit down and he sits next to me. "Thanks for all this hotshot" I say winking. He rests his hand on my thigh. "Anything for my princess" he says kissing my cheek. We finish eating. We put the dishes in the sink. We start washing them when I hayes puts bubbles on my nose so I splash him with water. "Oh no you don't" he says I giggle and take off running around the house and up the stairs. I'm almost to my bedroom when arms wrap around my waist. I giggle as my feet no longer touch the ground. Hayes takes me into my room and lightly tosses me on the bed. He hovers over me and starts ticking me. I start laughing and thrashing uncontrollably. which makes him laugh even hard. He finally stops and pins both my arms by my head. He has this intense look in his gorgeous blue eyes. He leans down. His face hovering over mine. His breath fanning over my face. "Tell me if you want me to stop" he says barely over a whisper. I don't say a word, I actually lean my body forward meeting his. Within seconds his lips touch mine and it's like nothing else before. After a couple seconds maybe a minute. His hands move from my wrist to my hips and my hands instantly go to his neck and hair. I close the small gap between his body and mine. After a few minutes we pull apart. I breathe out trying to keep from panting from being out of breathe. "Wow" I say barely audible. I lay back on my back. Hayes lays next to me trying to control his breath. "Your telling me" he says. "So that's what I've been missing out on" I say. "Oh no, normal kisses are nothing like that" hayes says finally catching his breathe. "Well that was great." I say my breathing going back to normal. "I've never had a kiss like that" hayes says propping himself up and looking down at me. I smile at him. I think I'm in love with this kid.. "I think we need to change your shirt" hayes says looking at me. I laugh and stand up. "I mean I kinda like it. It's cute, plus he's pretty cute and I'm pretty single." I say smiling at hayes. His facial expression changes. "Not for long" he mumbles under his breath. I instantly smile. "Hayes I wanna take a bath" I say sheepishly. He looks me up and down. "You want me to start it?" He asks. "I can get it" I say. He hops out of the bed. "No I got it, which bath bomb you want?" He asks. I smile. "Surprise me" I say. He grins and walks into the bathroom. I go to my closet and pull out an outfit for the doctors later. I walk into my bathroom and see hayes bent over the tub checking the water and putting in the bath bomb. I walk over and wrap my arms around him. His body tenses then relaxes. "You're the bestest" I say. He turns around and smiles down at me. "Who knew you could be so sweet" I say. He grins and says "nobody not even me" which causes me to smile. "There's that beautiful smile." Says kissing my nose. "You gonna watch Netflix with me while I bathe?" I ask he lights up like a Lil kid on Christmas. "Hell yes" he says I chuckle. You gotta go out till I get in the water or turn around." I say. He quickly steps back and turns around. I strip down, throwing my hair into a bun and slide in the water. I instantly relax as I sit. "You can turn around now." I say. He spins around. Can you grab the remote?" I ask pointing to the counter. He reaches over and hands it to me.  I turn my tv on that's in the bathroom and click Netflix. I hand the remote back to hayes. He looks at me confused. "Pick something" I say. He turns on arrow and props down in my chair next to the tub. Once we finish the episode I decide I'm done with my bath. "Hayes can you hand me a towel and turn around?" I ask he nods grabbing me a towel and unfolding it. He opens it and closes his eyes holding it out for me to wrap up in. "Thanks love" I say. He smiles, his eyes still closed. I giggle. "You can open your eyes lil one" I say. He opens his eyes grinning at me. "I believe you're the little one" he says poking my sides causing me to squirm. He chuckles. "I gotta get ready for the doctor so you can do whatever." I say pecking his nose. I grab my clothes and take them with me to my closet. I pull on my bra and panties. I throw my towel and other clothes in the dirty clothes hamper. I walk back into my room and sit on the floor in front of my mirror by my vanity. I grab my daily makeup plastic container. I sit crisscross. I put on my primer, then bb cream I finish my face makeup. I let down my hair letting it fall down my back. I shake it out a little bit. I glance at hayes through the mirror to see that he has his phone facing me. I giggle smiling and cover my face. He grins at me. I wink back at him and blow him a kiss. He pretends to catch it. I giggle turning back around to work on my face. My phone buzzes and I see it a sc from him. So I unlock it and open it. It's a vid of me giggling covering my face, all the way to me blowing the kiss. "She could sit there all day and I'd just watch and smile❤️" was The caption. I smile. I slide over to see who's posted on their stories to see hayes did. It was a picture of me doing my makeup and the caption was "I don't care how long she does her makeup if I get to watch😍" and then the video was on it too. I just giggle. I put my phone down and finish my makeup, then put it all up, back on my vanity. I stand up and grab my clothes imma wear. I slide it on. I grab my booties from the closet and put them at the edge of the bed. I plop down on the bed next to hayes and take me a selfie for snapchat
"wow you're a cutie" hayes says. I smile and kiss him. He's shocked at first but kisses back almost immediately. We pull away and he smiles at me. "What was that for?" He asks. "Just felt like it" I say smiling. I glance at the clock. "Wow we waisted the day away" I say laughing. He smiles. I stand up and put my shoes on. "We better get going come on lazy" I say dragging him out of bed.
