I sighed as I walked into the school. I didn't get any sleep last night because Kurai kept come back every time I closed my eyes. I was so worried that he would break in that I ended up staying up all night. I pushed the doors open and walked to my seat. As soon as I sat down, I was attacked from behind. I looked over my shoulder to Elizabeth hugging me with a hug smile on her face. I gasped and stood up. We pulled each other into a hug.
"Can I join in?" I turned around to see Alex leaning against my desk. I smiled and hugged her.
"What are you guys doing here? I thought you went to some different school." I said smiling.
"Oh, we heard you moved here so we came here to make you feel welcomed." Elizabeth said. Elizabeth or Liz for short, was the more the rebel and free type. She wore anything she wanted for school. Alex was the skater type. She hated dresses along with me and Liz, but she did wear a black vest and a plaid skort and low heeled dress boots.
"Yeah, what happened to your hair?" Alex said, picking up a piece of my hair.
"Oh, some girls cut it in America, a few weeks before I moved here. So how have you guys been? I haven't seen you guys in ages." I said.
"Oh, we have been good. Alex got a couple more skateboards because she broke all the other ones and I joined baseball and soccer, but then we transferred into Japan last year, so I haven't joined much yet." Liz said with a shrug.
"What about you?" Alex asked.
"Same old, same old, I guess." I shrugged.
"What about your nasty Aunt." Alex asked.
"Oh, she kicked me out last week so I got my own apartment." They stared at me for a second before laughing.
"That's Jay for you. She always tries to look happy while saying something horrible." Liz said in between a fit of giggles. Everyone was looking at us.
"Hey, maybe we should save this for another time. I'm in the Host Club, so why don't you come. I could entertain you." I said, uncomfortable with all the stares.
"Yeah, sure. See you then." After that, they left the classroom and I sat in my seat. Alex, Liz, Luna and Kurai. I have seen so much of my past, I wonder what's next.
