"The doctor is about to tell me if Jordan's alright." I said smiling at her. I looked up at the doctor and so did Delilah. The doctor opened his mouth, but I didn't hear a word. Numbness filled my body. I set Delilah on the ground and ran. I didn't her anything around me. Everything passed by in a blur. Nothing felt real anymore. I couldn't tell where I was going, but it felt like I as being pulled by something. I knew I was being pulled to Jordan's room.

I ran and finally made it into Jordan's room. Jordan was laying on a bed, eyes closed. Tears came to my eyes. I stumbled over to her and hugged her. "Hey, baby. How are you doing? I heard about the operation. I didn't listen well though. I need you to open your eyes, baby." Tears fell on her face. "Come on, you can do it. Open your eyes. I know you can." Nothing happened. "I love you so much. I don't want you to go. I want you to stay. I want us to get married and have like a billion kids. I can't live without you. You have to open your eyes. You can't leave me. Please."

More and more tears ran down my face. I put my head on her shoulder and the tears came faster. I felt someone rubbing my back, but I ignored it. "Please. Please don't go. Wake up." I begged.

"Kaoru!" Someone yelled. I looked up and seen Delilah standing behind me. "It's going to be ok. It will be." She smiled at me. I wanted to scream and yell at her that it wouldn't be. I wanted to hit her for smiling. I wanted to run away. I wanted to turn back time before I walked into Jordan's café. I wanted to do all these, but I couldn't bring myself to do anything other then cry. I saw the doctor standing in the doorway.

"Actually, I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but even if Miss. Wilde does wake up, there's no telling how much she'll remember." The doctor said.

"But, I thought she was shot in her stomach. How can that affect her brain?" I asked.

"Well, Jordan slipped into a coma during the surgery and if she wakes up, it's common that patients lose their memory. It may take weeks for it to come back. I've read reports where memories never come back. It's not uncommon." He explained. It would be both a good and bad thing if she loose it. She has terrible memories, but I don't want her to forget about me.

I pulled my phone out. I called Hikaru. I wiped the tears off of my face. "Hello." Hikaru answered.

"Hey." I said. My voice was hoarse from crying again.

"Did you find out what happened? Is she ok?" He asked.

"Well, she's alive." My voice was monotone.

"What does that mean?" I cleared my voice. I took a deep breath.

"Jordan's in a coma." My voice hitched when I said this.

"..." Hikaru stopped talking. I heard voices in the back ground. "She's in a coma." His voice matched my monotone. The voices stopped. "Do they know when she's going to wake up?"

"No. They don't know if she's even going to remember anything. They think that she's going to lose her memories."

"Alright. Are you going to be alright?" Hikaru asked worried.

"...No." I hung up and threw my phone at the wall. It broke into pieces. Delilah jumped. I set my head on the bed and watched Jordan's face. Waiting for her to open her eyes.
