Tala's P.O.V

As Shawn went out of the room, I let the towel falls to the ground and then I went to my suitcase since I didn't have enough time to take out my clothes.

I took out a black lace underwear with a black matching bra. I looked at myself in the mirror quite happy with myself.

I started to wear my black dress, I totally loved it since it was tight and silk .It hugged my body perfectly showing each curve but the problem that it was too short on me.

I was thinking about changing the dress, because it may not befits the birthday partyuntil I heard shawn knocking on the door and saying, "Tala are you ready? We only have half an hour left and the traffic is crazy here."

I looked at my reflection in the mirror and realised that the dress wasn't that short, it wasn't above the knee too much.

"Okay, let me just do my hair and my make-up. "I shouted back and started doing my hair, I'll make it in a classy bun.

I took out Ely's makeup bag because I only had like mascara and lip gloss and she insisted that I have to put makeup.

I did a dark eyeshadow and made the core a little darkish red. Then I used the eyeliner to make a simple wing on both eyes.

"Tala, Hury up please. " I heard shawn saying again, I rolled my eyes. Can't he be a little patient?

The I used a dark shade of red as my lipstick it was matte of course.

Then finally the blusher and I put on my red pumbs.

I looked at the mirror and I took a mirror selfie to send it to Ely.

I opened the door again to find shawn sleeping on the couch with his phone in his hands.

"Shawn, I'm ready. "I called him, he looked at me and he breathed out a wow. I looked at the ground smiling.

He stood up and standed in front of me and said, " Well now I don't mind you being late, If you're gonna look like this. " He took my hand and spin me around as he was saying this.

I laughed at the dork he is and said, "You don't look bad yourself." I pointed out.

"I know, I'm gorgeous." he walked away looking very serious.

I raised my eyebrow at him, and then he started laughing and I ended laughing with him.

"How long is this going to take?", I said as I was checking my phone to see if Ely had seen my message or not. She didn't, weird.

"like half an hour, Astrid doesn't live too far from us," He looked at me then back at the road.

"Are you friends with Astrid or like distanced cousins?", I asked trying to make a conversation between us.

"well, not very close. As I was in Canada and Astrid lives here so we didn't see each other alot, like two times a year or something like that.", something was off about him, I feel it. I didn't bother him about it.

I noded and then we were greeted by silence, awkward silence.

I looked at the window of the car and let out a sigh.

"So, " Shawn said and I gave him my attention," Why were you crying when I entered the flat? " I shivered as I remembered that memory again and I closed my eyes and let a breath.

"Tala, are you okay?", shawn looked concerned. I breathed out again and said, "Yeah." whispering.

"Hey, it's okay if you don't want to tell me. I underst-", I put my finger on his mouth a sign of shutting him up, he looked at me and then he kissed my finger, I took it out away and looked at him, he was smirking at me.

"Don't, "I tried to act all serious but I end up smiling when he raised his hands surrendering." Put your hands on the wheel, you idiot. "I shouted at him, he was laughing so hard now.

" Do you think getting us killed is so funny? ", I smiled at him and he placed his hands on the wheel back." very, " he smirked.

" Don't change the topic, " I sighed again, he's not letting it go, isn't he?

"Okay,I'm going to tell you put please just let it go after that, promise?",I looked at him.

" Promise. ", He raised his pinky finger and I smiled at him." Okay, so as you see, I don't really like crowds, do I? ", He shook his head as a sign of no.

" Well, Not all crowds are loving and supporting ones, filled with people who really love you and wants to be near you. There's some crowds that wants to make you feel attacked and wants to put you down. Sadly, I was greeted by this crowds everyday in my old school, and before asking, yes I was bullied ", Shawn looked shocked at me but I didn't stop and continued because if I stoped now, I won't be able to continue ever again.

" The very start of the story is that I had a boyfriend, " I closed my eyes imaging him again and took a breath. Oh how much he scares me. I could feel shawn's hand rubbing my back and smiling at me.

"He used to.. Abuse me," I closed my eyes, feeling the tears build up in my eyes. I could feel shawn's hand stop at my back and then starts moving again, "I can't say why but it was because of some problems and I wanted all this to stop so I reported him to the headmaster and she got him expelled out if the school. so, one day, when he knew about all this he came to the school and told everyone that I did that because I used to take money from him as an exchange of.. Sex. But I never did, " I could feel tears running on face as I was talking.

" So,the whole school was calling me out as the school's slut and bulling me. I lost all my friends and by the end of the day he came and starts slapping, hitting amd abusing me. "When I finished I was sobbing, my face in my hands, trembling and shaking. Shawn stoped the car and ran to my side. He opened the door and carried me and placed me on his lap.

"Shshsh, he's not here anymore. He can't hurt you." He was whispering in my ears and rubbing my back to try to make me feel better, I hugged him back he felt surprised at first but he returned the gesture and hugged me harder.

"Thank you shawn,"I looked at him, he removed some tears of my eyes by his thumb and smiled, "anytime, Tala."

I love this chapter so much, because it includes so much feels.
