16|Stressed Out.

nothing happend

nothing.

Those two words kept going in my head for the rest of the day.

Shawn left to go for an interview and I was staying with Astrid, karen and Aaliyah.

Well , I didn't know what did I expect. he didn't tell me he liked me or anything. maybe it was just because that moment felt right?

I don't even know anymore, when he held me that last night before we went to sleep ,I felt somthing else, I felt safe. Never felt this feeling before, even with Sam.
his arms around me made me feel like I'm protected.

"Tala, are you okay?", Aaliyah came to sit next to me on the couch.

"Yeah," I took a breath," I'm fine. " I smiled to her.

"You have been like this since Shawn left, do you want me to call him for you?"

I smiled at how sweet she is," Nah Aaliyah,It's okay," I just miss him." I lied.. Again.  I can't tell hey, ' your brother is kind of an asshole for giving me mixed signals.

"aww, wait do you want to see his interview,it's working now on the tv  mom and Astrid are watching him," I stood up, "yeah lets go."

We were siting out waiting for the intervew to come back , 

"it's back mom," Aaliyah callled for karen as soon as it started. 

"We're back again with the one and only Shawn mendes!", the interviewer said making the crowd go wild and for shawn to smile,

" lets's congratulate you again on your new upcomming album , your songs that came out until now are absolutely incredible , how do you feel about this and what is your favourite song?"

"First, thank you so much, and I'd love to thank my fans again because without them i wouldn't make it this far," the crowd goes wild again.

"The reaction of my fans for the new songs were absolutely amazing ,I was so happy that my fans loved them and this album is actually important to me ,"

"wha's your favourite song from the album?, " the interviwer asked the question agin.

Shawn moved a hand in his hair thinking,"this is a very hard question,"  Shawn chuckled, "Maybe three empty words," The crowd goes crazy yet agin,

" that is such a beautiful song, " the interviwer agreed.

" Enough about the album let's talk about the shawn mendes now,  lets's say sorry to all the beaitiful girls here, but I heard that Shawn Mendes is no longer single is that true?",

Aaliyah smiled at me and I smiled back, but from the inside I wanted to scream.

'well...", the crowd was silent for a moment waiting for Shawn's answer,

"Yes." that what took the crowd to go nuts.

"ohh, Is that lucky girl someone we may know?",the interviwer asked  while winking at shawn playfully.
he laughed ," no, I dont think so." 

" so, what about Camila Cabello? " 

" Me and Camilla were friends from the very start so there's nothing with her."

"Well okay, tell us about your mistery girlfriend ?"

"She's so beautiful , like when I first saw her I just felt that she's the one."the whole crwod and his famuly here awwed at his preformance.

"That's very sweet, how long have you two known each other?" , Shawn was now thinking of another lie to tell the interviewer. "We've known each other for like three months now and have been togerther for like a month." he smiled.

more like a week.

"but you've never menthioned her before?" 

" she wanted to keep it a secret for a while until she is ready." shawn faked a smile at the interviwer.

"lets go for a break and we will be back with.. shawn mendes again."

i could care less to watch the interview, he was just lying and I got sick of it , maybe he was acting last night too, or maybe that was a feeling of sympathy towards mee? i'm sick of that feeling.

I went to the kitchen to make coffee to make me calm, I saw karen inside. 

"hey Tala ," she smiled at me ."Hey Mrs Mendes." I smiled back at her.

"oh no , just call me Karen sweety, " She seemed too sweet too. 

" Okay , karen. Um do you know Where's the coffee ?", She looked at some shelves then she returned with a yellow jar,"here it is, do you want me to make you coffee ?"

"Please karen,and thank you," I sat down behind the counter as she was making the coffee , she kept taking glances at me  I was very nervous," how old are you dear?"

"Im seeventeen ," she looked shocked at me ,"I thought you were fifteen actually , and I was just going to talk to Shawn about this, " she chuckled ,"what? no," I started laughing and she laughed with me, then I frowend slighty.

"whats wrong Tala,I could see somthing wrong," 

"nothing," I repeted shawns word back and I sighed.

"since the morning,I could see how awkward you were with Shawn and you have been off since he left, you wasn't even happy when the interview was playing and when he was talking about you," she explained.

My mouth was hanging open at how well she could read me,I bet if she even realised that we both were acting.

"how.. how did you know all that?," I whispered quietly ,

" A mom always know darling , I could feel when my child is happy and i could feel when he is not,"she raised her eyebrow at me.

"are you fighting?" she asked again.

"Something like that," I said quietly, I cant just tell her well , we're kinda not even together to fight ma'am.

Then, I saw my phone ringing then it was  Shawn ,I took a breath and ansewerd ,"hello."

"I'm waiting out,we are leaving."I heard his stern voice say.

wow, Im fine thank you.

"kay. I'll just drink the coffee and th-",

"Tala, out,now." 

Seriously what's wrong with him. 

"I'll drink my coffe, then I'll meet you out." ,"Tala-"

I hung up on him.

I saw karen looking at me,"Is everything okay?"

" yeah Shawn's out and I think I need to get going,"

karen's eye got wide open looking at something behind me, I turned around to see Shawn getting close to us looking very mad, 

"Hey mom,Tala are you ready baby?", he faked a smile at me, I could see it.

I raised my eyebrow at him and then I remeberd that we have to act again,

'Yes babe, I'll be ready in a second." I leaned in to kiss his cheek and I saw his eye gets wide , Two can play this game shawn,I smirked at him. I went to get my things.

"You guys are giving me headahe , I cant understand anything."I heard karen says.

me neither karen,me neither.
