Chapter 1

Evelyn's POV•••
My name is Evelyn Pimentel, Im 15, Im only 4,9 and I live in Miami,Florida. Im a Sophomore in High school. I have a brother His name is Joel, He's a Junior. Im a little bit feisty, sometimes shy an I wont let anyone try an take me down without a fight.

"Evelyn, lo qué está tomando tanto tiempo?"My Mom yelling from the kitchen.

"Madre mal día de cabello! Estaré abajo en un minuto!" I yelled to my mom from upstairs.

As I come down the stairs I see Joel an my mom getting ready to eat some eggs an toast.

"Los chicos estarán aquí pronto mi ángel". My mom says while about to take a bite of toast.

"Joel, have you seen my phone?" I ask,

"Nah, Check the couch?" Joel says back to me.

.Door bell rings.

I grab my phone off the couch real quick.

"Joel, get the puerta!" I yell, then hide behind the couch.

"Hola!" Richard says.

As Christopher comes in, " Where's Evelyn?" He asks.

"Boo! Haha I'm so fucking childish." I say laughing with everyone.

Someone else walks in..Ive never seen him before. Must be one of Joel's friends?Wow his eyes are amazing! An damn! Look at that jawline, he's probably like 17. I ran upstairs before he noticed me an finished getting ready. Since its the first day of sophomore year might as well try to look pretty, right? So I put on a T-shirt that says, "You gotta pay me for attention." An some skinny jeans an Coral faded to Peach colored vans. I tie my hair in a high-ish ponytail, My hair is long an dark brown just a little bit wavy. I put on light makeup, concealer, powder, mascara an some nude matte lipgloss from Walmart, yeah Walmart.

As I ran back downstairs Joel says, "Hey this is my friend Erick, he's gonna be going to our school now."

Holy Shit! I think in my mind... I hope I look decent right now.

"Hey my name is Evelyn, I'm Joel's baby sister, Im a sophomore." I say to Erick.

"Hola, Me llamo Erick, Im gonna be a sophomore too." Erick says to me without looking away.

Damn those eyes tho! My eyes are just hazel lol.

Joel interrupts my little bubble I had going on by saying " Well I gotta drive mom to work yall wanna come with?"

Christopher,"Sure."

Richard, "Yeah well keep you company on the way back to pick up Evelyn."

Christopher asks Erick,"Coming or what?"

"Nah ill say here with Evelyn, if thats alright?" Erick asks Joel.

Joel says,"Yeah sure dude, thats cool with me, You good Evelyn?"

Evelyn says back to Joel," Yup we got it covered." Then I look back at Erick, an then I walk into the living room.
