Erick's POV•••

"Ir a dormir a mi hermosa." I tell Evelyn, As I kiss her forehead an pull the sheets over her.

Am I falling for her?.. No can't be we just met. Plus me an her brother are getting to be really good friends. Just how beautiful she is. It knocks me down inside when I look into her ojos avellana. I need to get a grip for now were just friends..Deseo de más.

As I walk home Richard comes up next to me.

"Dude you scared the shit outta me!" I say

"Yeah?" Richard says not really caring.

"Que pasa man?" I rudely ask

"Ella ha sido tiró mucho, no quiero ver que se vaya a través de mierda de nuevo." He looks me dead in the eyes.

"How'd you find out I like her?"

"That's what she came to my house for, take it slow with her, she's like a sister to me just make sure you take car of her, I won't tell Joel I'll let you handle that." He says walking off

This is starting to make sense now. She went to talk to Richard about me? Wait so she likes me too? Don't get overly excited here Erick, I tell myself. Richard said to take it slow, I honestly don't want to hurt her Ive done enough of that in the past with other girls. Im done being like that, Im willing to change my ways for her.

Evelyn's POV•••

I spot Erick an try to go the opposite way. He comes towards me. What is it with him? Im trying to avoid him, I don't want to fall in love again, and get my heart broken...AGAIN.

"Hola Mami." Erick says cheerfully.

"Oh um hey Erick." I say awkwardly.

"I wanted to ask you something."

Plz don't ask me out. Please don't. Just ask for homework or something! I say in my head.

"Que pasa Erick."

"Le gustaría ir al cine conmigo viernes por la noche?" He quietly asks.

Typical guy move. Ughhh he's playing with my heart.

"Uh what time?"

"Depends on what movie...Surprise me Mami." He whispers in my ear, then walks off leaving his cologne lingering in the air near me.

Why? How does he manage to go from 0-100 real quick. He just takes my breath away. The way he whispers I feel like everything stops when he speaks so softly...

I plug in my earplugs, Aire~ Leslie Grace ft. Maluma. Oh perfect timing I think while rolling my eyes.
