.The next Morning.

Evelyn's POV•••

Last night was amazing. Ive never done anything like that before. We were so close, but I didn't want it that way...I wanted it special.

I get a text from Erick.

From Erick: Hey Mami, I have to tell you something...

I wonder whats wrong...

To Erick: Yea sure go ahead.

From Erick: Mami, I have to go back to Cuba for a while...Not too long only 2 weeks. Ok?

Why? I cant even think about not seeing him for 2 weeks, an the danger out there.

To Erick: Why? An what about the danger out there an your family are they staying there longer with you or are they coming back to Florida???

From Erick: They're gonna stay there... My grandma is sick. Mami I'm scared for her.

To Erick: Baby I know, It's very scary but you have to be strong for her and your family. We'll see each other when you get back okay?

From Erick: Of course, be safe when I'm gone alright. Love you Mami❤️.

As I got on the boat all I could think about was Evelyn. Her eyes, her body, her voice. I cant believe I'll be so far away from her for 2 weeks.

From Evelyn: I love you Erick. Be safe❤️.

My heart just jumped out of my chest. Im gonna miss her so much.

Evelyn's POV•••

I already miss him soo much. Get a grip Eve, I tell myself. He'll be back soon enough. I go downstairs to eat breakfast.

"Hey Joel, Mom at work already?." I ask still tired

"Yeah, Is everything okay sis?" Just as he finishes his sentence I burst into tears.

"Eve!" He's says shocked.

"Erick is leaving for 2 weeks to Cuba, an I already miss him!" I cry some more onto Joel's shoulder.

"Eve, Its gonna be okay..I promise he'll be back in no time." He says calmly

"Did you..Um last night?" He says scared for the answer.

"No" I say reassuring him.

He lets out a sigh,"Oh..Thats good, I mean..uh Never Mind."

I hug him. Just holding on to him. I love my brother he's always been there for me.

"You need to get your mind off of him for a while, I don't need a mopey sister to drag around." He shines me a big smile.

"Wanna go to that new Mexican Restaurant?" He asked.

"Yea sure."

I go to get ready. I put on shorts, and a red, orange, an yellow ombré colored shirt, with a pair of black vans. I put my hair into a ponytail, An I just put on Concealer and powder an some tinted chapstick.

"Sis you coming?" Joel asks waiting for me downstairs.

"Yeah"

We get into the car, I get a text from Erick.

From Erick: Hola Mami!😃 I made it to Cuba safe.❤️🙏🏼

I look at Joel, and he looks back. I don't answer it and put my phone on silent.
