Chapter 2

Erick's POV•••

"Hey my name is Evelyn, I'm Joel's baby sister, Im a sophomore." Evelyn says to me.

"Hola, Me llamo Erick, Im gonna be a sophomore too." I say to her without losing eye contact.

Wow Joel's sister is beautiful! Ive never seen such a girl who is muy confiado in her own skin.

As I was thinking of how beautiful she was Joel interrupts by saying, " Well I gotta drive mom to work yall wanna come with?"

Christopher,"Sure."

Richard, "Yeah well keep you company on the way back to pick up Evelyn."

Christopher asks Erick,"Coming or what?"

I said,"Nah ill say here with Evelyn, if thats alright?" I said while looking at Joel, it wouldn't hurt to try an spend some time with Evelyn, Right?

Joel says,"Yeah sure dude, thats cool with me, You good Evelyn?"

Evelyn says back to Joel," Yup we got it covered." Then she gives me a look, not a mean one but kind of signaling something to me, an then walks into the living room.

My friends always say when a girl gives you that look maybe she's leading you on... I don't know if thats true right now but it's worth a shot to go after her...

As Evelyn walks into the living room an hug her from behind saying,"Hola Mami.", into her ear.

"Erick" Evelyn says, questioning.

"What are you doing?" She asks.

"Going for the prize." I whisper in her ear.

"Im not a prize, Erick" She snaps back while pushing me back.

"But mami, lo que está mal?" I say back looking her in the eyes now.

I hear the door unlock, so I let her go, It's Joel he just walked in with the other boys, Richard, an Christopher.

"Hey guys, you ready for school?", We all reply with Yeah.

At School we all met up at lunch we skipped an went to a Taqueria, damn that food was delicious! I got tacos, Everything on it, mmmmhhhmm.
