Chapter 11
Everyone was asleep except Caleb and I. We were watching Boy Meets World and it was like 2:00 in the morning. We were talking about school. And it hit me school started next month. Yay (note sarcasm). until we somehow got into the kiss.
"Adeline?"
"Yes?"
"You remember when we you know..we kissed?"
"Yeah"
"Well and I said that we should just stay friends?"
I nodded my head
"The thing is I like you" he said fast
"Really?" I said smiling from ear to ear. My heart was beating out of my chest and I can feel my cheeks burning
"Ya" he said scratching the back of this neck
"Caleb"
"Yes?"
"I like you too"
That felt good to get off of my chest
"Really?" He said smiling and blushing a little
"Ya"
"So what does this mean?"
"I don't know I mean we're only 13"
"Ya.."
"And maybe in a few years, if you still like me then let's see where it goes from there"
"Yeah that sounds good" he said still smiling.
I hesitantly kissed his cheek and put my head on his shoulder
"Caleb"
"Yes?"
"I love you"
"Adeline, I love you too"
and we just talked for the rest of the night.
