In three days, Alena will be walking down the aisle. Things have been going well. I did my best to avoid Rosemary and surprisingly, she was keeping her distance from Damian. Luckily, my sister did not question me about my presence in Damian's room three days ago. I sat on the couch that was in my room and stared at Thomas's sleeping figure. A knock on the door made me ran towards it in a sprint so that the knocking would stop. I didn't want Thomas to wake up because he was pretty much tired. I opened the door to see Jasmine standing there with a smile on her face."What are you doing?" she asked with a sigh. I walked out of the room and closed the door slowly.
"Nothing much. What about you?" i questioned as we walked down the corridor to the main stairs. Jasmine was holding her phone in her hands tightly. I realized that she was a phone addict. I wonder how she would survive if I took her phone away.
"I'm bored and my sister is going out to buy a dress" she huffed. "I don't want to be around her when she's trying the dresses, so I told her that we were going out" she said with a grin while we walked down the stairs. I tied my hair in a messy bun as I turned my head to look at her.
"We are?" I asked, a frown started forming on my face. She nodded and pulled me to the kitchen where I saw Rose and Alena sitting on the counter. Why are they not using the chairs? I shrugged at my own question.
"Girls! What about we go out for some girls time?" Jasmine asked as she clapped her hands together. Didn't she realized that my sister actually hates her?
"I'm getting married in three days" Alena deadpanned, trying her best not to glare at her fiancé's ex girlfriend.
"Exactly! That's why you should enjoy!" I have to admit that Jasmine's exciting personality was kind of rubbing off me as I started nodding as well. She was right. Alena should be enjoying herself before getting married.
"I have a lot of stuffs to do" Alena interjected, causing Jasmine's smile to drop off and my eyes to glare at her.
"You already did everything" Rose sighed from next to her.
"Listen Alena" Jasmine started, sounding really serious as she stepped in front of my sister. "It is true that Dean and I used to be together. But that shouldn't be a problem because it was just for fun. Nothing more. Nothing less. I'm glad that you guys are going to get married" she said sincerely as she stared at my sister. Alena was staring at her for a few seconds, trying to gauge her words, trying to see whether she was being truthful or not. My sister then took a deep breath and groaned.
"Yeah, let's go. I want ice cream though" she said as she jumped off the counter. Rose squealed in happiness and followed Alena.
"Then get ready! We'll be leaving in ten minutes" Jasmine announced and we started running to our rooms to get ready. I made sure not to make noise as my little boy was still snoring softly. I decided to wear a blue denim Jean short and a black crop top which had long sleeve. I let my hair loose over my shoulder. My red lipstick already tracing my lips as I stared at myself in the mirror. I put on my sandals on. I took my handbag and walked to Alena's room. Just as I was about to open the door, the knob twisted and the door opened to reveal my sister in a pink summer dress and her hair braided to one side.
"Is Thomas sleeping?" she asked as she put her shades on her head, thus blocking some hair strands from coming on her face.
"Yeah, he is. I need to tell someone to look after him though" I said as we started walking to the main door.
"Dean is in the study room, probably working on some business shit" Alena said while rolling her eyes. "Go tell him, I know he won't mind" I nodded and started making my way to study room. I thought Dean was gone to work because I haven't seen him since this morning. Once I was in front of the enormous white door, I hesitantly knocked and when I heard a faint 'come in', I opened the door and stepped inside. Dean was sitting on one of the comfortable couch with his feet on the table in front of him. His laptop was on his feet and he was wearing a short and a shirt. My eyes widened when I saw Damian as well. The guy's back was facing me. He was wearing his usual suit and tie. He was most probably back from their office.
