Their Escape

greed smiled breathing in deeply and letting all his air out, he raised his head high and looked back down at Jonathan once again.

"So your Jonathan Omen huh?"

Jonathan responded with a simple yes while standing up.

"Well, I have come for one thing and that's all. I will give you one chance, where is Deaths Gate"

Jonathan was wondering why this book was so special, but felt stupid for thinking that.  He knew what the book was and what it is capable of.  But it's hard to believe that just a book as simple and plain on the outside can hold so much darkness inside.  And that God once held this book in his hands; Jonathan knew how important keeping this book safe is.

Jonathan felt even worse when he realized that the book isn't even in his hands, it's next to Megan.  But Jonathan can't even see Megan all can be seen is pitch black darkness and the fire lit on the ground.

Greeds sinister grin slowly faded, he realized that Jonathan was not going to give up that easily.

Jonathan wanted to ask about his brother he saw, he felt so confused, but he knew you can never reason with a demon.

Greed walked closer to Jonathan laying on the floor, Jonathan felt the urge to move but by the time he gained strength to get back up Greed had his shadowy hands around his neck raising him up.

Jonathan grabbed Greeds one hand trying to pry his grip open, Jonathan was looking down at his hand pulling with all his might, he felt a sudden burst of strength run through his body,

"Squeeze his arm"
He heard from inside him.

Jonathan knew it was his mom again she was back he tried not to ask questions and did what she said.

Jonathan grabbed Greeds hand and broke his wrist, shattering his wrist to a million shards of bone inside.

"Jonathan I won't leave you again"

Jonathan smiled.
Greed on his knees holding his wrist in pain, he looked up and glared at Jonathan.  Standing up again he shakes his hand as it has been healed that fast.

"Impressive, but you do know this means we are enemies again right?"

Jonathan knew he was talking to Lust, she pushed more strength into Jonathan, he felt heat coming from his body like it did in the woods when he clashed with Insanity.

Greed snapped his fingers and broke the black darkness like shattering glass, Jonathan saw Megan and where she was he ran to her and shook her away telling her to grab the book and to run.

Megan looked to see a demon with wings that she has never seen before she felt hot from the burning ashes and flames I the church, she grabbed the book and ran.

Greed was even more frustrated than before, he brushed his hair out of his eyes with one finger and purposes a duel.

"Jonathan fight me now and if you win I will let you leave and I shall continue to chase you, but if I win.  I kill you, and your friends, and take the book."

Jonathan asked his mom in his head,
